  1. Lol, seriously the way you were posting Tmcdllr I thought you were 12, I was shocked when I read you were in your 30s, the way you guys are bickering about stuff like this lol. That is interesting though... I guess... I didn't know Disney had a "goth" day lol, and the lines were huge for the haunted mansion, which I guess in a way is somewhat funny since I have a goth friend and she doesn't ride much, but the Haunted Mansion is one of maybe 3 rides she does ride lol, I've been trying to get her to ride more...
  2. Who better to answer this then Mr Fetterman himself? ---------- On Saturday of LDW there is a split session hand-stamp, something like one good for 12-5Pm and another from 5-10PM. It grew out of a Knoebel program of kindness started decades ago, an "employee appreciation day" during which the POP sessions were actually split apart by an hour's pause, when all rides closed and operators trekked to a catered meal served by the Knoebel family and friends. As time went on, the larger number of employees as well as the larger number of patrons made the absolute closing impossible and now employees are shuttled to their own picnic up in one of the pavilions starting mid-afternoon and going until early evening. Hence the unusual schedule for Saturday. It will be busy and full of weekend handstamps - read: some of the longest ride lines of the year. Sunday and Monday are tickets-only. The Sunday crowd are augmented by a full campground and numerous families still making good on an earlier-summer promise to get to the park "sometime this summer". Lines will be on the larger side for Knoebels, which is, of course, still rather short when compared with many... On Monday most of the campers have departed. The crowd is of a decent size but not nearly so large as on Sunday. So you have three distinct crowd sizes and types over the three weekend days. 3. itll be interesting when some of the structure turns that classic wooden silver color and some is still fresh and new looking lol. I never thought of that as much as when looking at those new pics (thanks for the pics btw), and the figure 8 looks a bit more aged then that new looking final lift area, not that it really matters or makes a difference but just will look interesting. I can't wait to check this out more hopefully around labor day.
  4. Mine are all from CP Mellenium Force, because of lines TTD, also because of lines, and MF and TTD had some downtime and I was sorta in a rush. Cedar Creek Mine Ride... again long line and didn't look that exciting Disaster Transport... lines again lol, and 5 bucks for glasses? Still curious about it though.
  5. Oh yeah, Pete you reminded me, I too have been on Python at BGA, forgot about that one...
  6. Whirlwind at Knoebels Jet Star in Wildwood/Morey's Cyclone at WG
  7. ^I was curious about that too, While the train wasn't overly loud where Pete and I's sites were, I could still hear the horn, and felt for those people closer, lol, or where Pete had stayed there before.
  8. I forgot about the best part of Wildcat though! Fabio! LOL
  9. Nice TR/Pics, looks like fun, that unicycle guy is a little on the disturbing side though...
  10. After Wildcat, I was loving those Millennium Flyers, I believe you Pete saying it wasn't horrible ( I would have probably agreed), but MFs are soooo nice
  11. heeyy, nice TR, it was awesome meeting you guys, as well as cool running into you guys Jason, hope you guys liked your Knoebels visit. I just gotta make it up to MA sometime for Superman now. Look forward to the rest of your TR pete, I'll see what happened with my pics if they are even worth posting. Hersheypark was a blast though, Stormrunner was everything I expected and more, and I think every woody should get the MF treatment, so comfortable and Wildcat from what I heard was pretty bad before, but I thought it was awesome.
  12. I was using the comp, and had a delicious refreshing Mountain Dew sitting on the desk next to me. I got a bit more then halfway done, when my brother comes to use the comp. I let him on, I play Zelda. I come back in here not too long ago, decide to finish up my Mountain Dew (in a Taco Bell cup, with lid on, and straw, typical Taco Bell style cup) and nearly f*cking died!!, after sucking up a nice sized gulp, I run to the bathroom and proceed to throw up violently for about 10/15 minutes, then sit and feel like crap for another 5, then throw up again. THE F*CKING DUMBASS ASHED ALL IN MY MOUNTAIN DEW AND THREW SOME 4 BUTTS IN THERE!! THE DAMN CUP WAS SITTING RIGHT NEXT TO AN ASHTRAY WHICH WAS STILL CLEAN!!! THE ASHTRAY WAS CLOSER TO HIM THEN THE CUP!! When I called him up and was talking and told him hes like "sorry dude I thought you were done with it, I'm so used to just ashing in old cups..". It was still almost half full and had some ice left!! My stomach is killing me down
  13. Just decided to check this out, and this is awesome stuff. Its cool that we have 2 comics going on here, It would be even cooler if we could get a hold of them someday. Maybe TPR could start publishing comic books lol, signed by the people who made them. Who knows, if either of you goes on to become animators, these TPR comic books will become very collectable items... Keep up the good work though, looking forward to more!
  14. They are being shipped, you CAN find them, its NOT impossible, you just have to be there early. Around here, you can find them once and a while on the shelves, 2 or 3. They sell the day they get them. The console is very popular, and only a couple months old, and its worth what little work you have to go through.
  15. Ahh, how interesting, I wonder why? I'm sure they will snap some new ones when 2007 starts up, the ones up there now are just place-holders since they've never had them pictured (for some odd reason...)
  16. ^its not their inability, its the insane demand. I hope you weren't one of those people (and there were plenty) who said Nintendo was crazy for shipping over 4,000,000 units before the end of 2006. They not only did that, but sold them as well. There are shipments, you just have to BE there for them, because even months after, they are still in such high demand unlike another system out there. Wiis were on the shelf once and a while around here, but even those are becoming rare as I guess hype started up again and now they get rid of them as soon as they open. I wouldn't call it pathetic in any way. If I'd call any company pathetic, it's Sony for what they did with PS3. They shipped less thinking they hype would create more demand, well, walk into any Gamestop and they are proven wrong with that one.
  17. I think this could work well as advertisement for Nintendo, and its not a surprise that Shapiro chose the Wii over other systems, being that it's very popular and also mostly geared towards families. Juts kind of funny how I was comparing Nintendo to SF back when they released the system. Gamestop employees saying how much of a hassle PS3's launch was with the company always changing the order numbers or how the numbers were wrong and how many people have a problem with their customer service, kinda pissed some people off (so I compared them to SF). He went on about how Nintendo is very good with customer service and the Wii launch went very smoothly. It's interesting how Nintendo and SF are now *together* so to speak. The old SF probly would have went with Playstation or Xbox IMO, seeing as how they are the more powerful systems popular with teens.
  18. Are they somewhat older pictures of the rides (the Satellite doesn't have colored lights at least anymore I don't think)? I give up, what's different, lol.
  19. 243 GIF (being edited)
  20. Congrats, what did you get with it?
  21. Somebody bought the Grand Am I wanted a day after I found it listed
  22. -The dream suit is not new, its been there for a few years now, they just never mentioned it on their site before -Whats different about them? They're actually there! lol (I'm glad)
  23. Anyone else seeing these PS3 towers as well? I went to more EB's and Gamestops yesterday, and towers of 15 or more are everywhere, and they don't move that fast...
