I scanned the brochure for SFGAM in 1988. There was no map the brochure but their is a list of ride by area of the park, Enjoy check out that car. Front of brochure.

I also have tons of brochures from my area parks from the late 80's, Most of what I have it from SFGAM it being my home park . I have most of them from 88-07 the only years i don't have are 97, 99, and 2000 I have all the rest. wright know i'm working on 88 I'm hoping to have it tonight for everyone. Shoot the Rapids was located where Maverick is today. White Water Landing replaced it in 1982(?). Then of course Maverick replaced WWL last year. Put simply three different rides have occupied that spot: Shoot the Rapids -> White Water Landing -> Maverick That makes sense, We had family out in the area we use to go to CP every year till 78-79 and stoped going do to the family that lived their moved, We did not start going back till 1994. and have gone every year since then, Well all but 1998. none of us remember were the ride was . Thank you, I always wondered were the was.

How could it be your favorite it has not opened yet, unless you went to GL. My home park is SFGAM my favorite is tuff I it's between three BTR, Viper, and Raging Bull since the trims were on hard the last couple of years It would have to say BTR then Viper.

Hi everyone this is my first TR. So go easy on me. I was going through my parents house helping them clean and found some old Cedar Point pictures from 1978 or 1979 , My dad was not sure what year the family was their. He think's it was the year Gemini opened witch would be 78. I tried to do the best scanning and adjusting the pictures the best I could. I hope you enjoy these and bring back some memories from the old Cedar Point. I have also found brochures from SFGAM from 1988-2007, I also have Cedar Point brochures from 1994 to 2007. Makes me sad to see those pick's, I'm glad I went there the last two seasons for coaster EXT, I will miss that park.

With out a dought it would be Maverick. I would take Xcelerator over TTD. I think the launch is a bit better, It might not have the speed and hight that TTD has. It just a shame it's at Knott's.

Great trip report Jahan look's like you all had a blast, You put alot of thought and detail into this report. If you thought they could crank out the train's at SFGAM on SUF you should have been their when the Shockwave was their. With three train operation they could crank out the trains fast with out much stacking. Anyway it was great reading your TR. Hope to see you on a future trip or if you go to SFGAM let me know I will be their. Are you going to post any high resolution photo's of the trip. Keep up the great work.

Yeah It's the section after the station fly by at the bottom of the turn that part had some jack hammering their.

When I bought our passes online the shipping the last couple of years has been around $10.00. It's a great deal for us because our home park is Sfgam. But when we went to St Louis 2 years ago and when we visited the park we purchased ours, and we just barely live in the radius to get ours renewed online at Sfstl. I just renewed ours and for us it's a steel.

I was their for for the final rides last night, I was in 1B on the exit side second train the will really miss that ride.

Deja Vu SFGAM It'S offical Deja Vu will be removed this winter the ACE members is our area had 3 final rides after the park closed last night. they had to do manual catches on the reverse tower all day and management confirmed that it would be remove this winter.

Good job Nicole keep up the great work, and I hope you get to finish it. Where do you get all the custom rides and land scape and stuff from.
