  1. I like the way these trains look, but they need to lose the windows on the side, they just look weird and out of place.
  2. ^ But you have to understand that they replaced the hole lower end of the train not just the restraints. Nothing on a roller coaster comes cheap. I know the wheels alone are pretty expensive.
  3. ^ Sad but true. It will be missed, but the cost of relocating the coaster really is not worth it.
  4. Chang only had 2 trains to start with, the ride could accommodate 3 train operation. When the park purchased Chang it had 2 trains, Chang never had 3 trains.
  5. I figured this would happen someday.
  6. Just ordered mine, what a great deal. Thank you Robb.
  7. Raging Bull Sfgam August 13th @ the TPR event.
  8. Me and the wife just signed up. It will be nice to meet new people. I would like to thank Robb and Elissa for all the hard work to even make this event possible. This should be fun!!! Scott
  9. Count me and the wife in, i have some friends that are interested to.
  10. It looks weird to see the old Voyage trains on another coaster. I wonder why they put the high back rests back on the new trains, looks weird.
  11. Sign me up, you have my money. I just want to say thank you for creating Club TPR and I appreciate all the time and work you and Elissa have put into it.
  12. I wasn't sure about the story i was told on that, Thanks for clearing that up. I wish they would just get rid of the Gerstlauer trains, the Boss would be so much better.
  13. Whatever happened to Megazeph and Twisted Twins Gerstlauer Trains??? I hope they don't plan on putting those old style ones back on!! The new Gerstlauer trains on Mammut were okay, but I can't imagine them on a coaster as big as Texas Giant. The Megazeph trains went to SFSTL in the 07-08 off season and Twisted Twins trains arrived sometime in May or June of 09. All the trains were scraped for spare parts for the Boss. I was really hoping that SFSTL would put different trains on this ride because it would be so much better than the Gerstlauer Trains. I'm not sure how true this is but i heard the Boss tested with the Screaming Eagle trains because the Grestlauer Trains had not arrived yet, and ran for Them for Media Day.
  14. KK was a crap hole before Six Flags had it. I visited the park in 96 and swore I would never go back, only reason I went back in 97 was because of Chang. The best thing for this park is to close it down. Its in a terrible location
  15. I heard about it to and were it's going, and were whats going in were the games used to be by Revolution. I was told to keep my mouth shut, well not in those words. I was surprised in how much and how many improvements and changes they are doing this year alone.
  16. If families in your area don't have the time or money to drive one hour and 20 minutes to Holiday World then what business did they have going to SFKK or a sporting event.
  17. The Dragsters were gone already on my visit to the park in 2006. I'm almost 100% sure that most of the salvageable parts like the cars and catch cars on the drop tower were sent to SFSTL. I also heard that some of the parts were sent to SFGAM.
  18. Her are my 5 Voyage Kentucky Rumbler Hades Superman Krypton Coaster Whizzer I can't believe that no one else has yet to say the Voyage. I'm SHOCKED!!!
  19. I think it was ether Joyrides or sixflagsnews.com where I found Robb's Guess the Neon. So I would say it was early 00's when I first came here, I browsed the forums for a while before I joined in late 2005, then I forgot my password and decided to rejoined under a new screen name in 2006. Does anyone remember Six Flags news.com
  20. I just want to let you guys know that I will not be able to go to the park tomorrow. I had surgery 2 weeks ago and I'm not fully healed yet. I already told Jo Ann that I would not make it, I have to meat up with everybody next season.
  21. I noticed the vibration in Diamondback @ the bottom of the hills to. It has as much Vibration as Ragging Bull, and it is 10 years old. That makes me wonder. I do think Diamondback is better than Raging Bull, the only thing RB has on Diamondback is the first drop, sit in the last 2 rows and your a$$ get ripped out of the seat., other wise Diamond back is better in every way. I like the trains better the airtime is the first car over the camel backs is amazing, especially in the aft seats. I still do like Raging Bull though.
  22. Yeah i don't recall seeing much of a line for Buccaneer Battle all summer. The ride has excellent capacity, and the theming is the best i have seen from any SF park.
  23. When the Legend opened in 2000 it had a single Gerstlauer train that was replaced by two PTC trains in 2002. We went to SFSTL this April and personally I don't think that the Boss was any smother than it was on our visit is 2006. I think SFSTL needs to get rid of the Gerstlauer trains, it would be a much better ride without those trains. (THEY SUCK)
  24. ^^ Believe it or not Iron Wolf ran 3 trains to, before the seat belts were installed on the B&M Stand ups Iron Wolf ran 3 train operation. Most of you wont believe this but they did. Mantis ran 3 trains before the seat belts were installed.
