  1. Muster Drills are 100% required by law. "By international law, a passenger muster drill must be conducted by the ship within 24 hours of departure" (source:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muster_drill). I second your view Robb, it's insane that it wasn't done on the very first day. Does a flight crew tell you where the life vests and emergency exits are when its already half way into the flight? I myself have never been on a cruise before, however will be in February of 2013. This incident does not scare me off nor should it scare anyone off. Accidents happen, hence the definition of an accident. Carnival needs to step up and take the reigns back on some procedures it seems.
  2. If it's like Behemoth I believe it would be Season Passholder Night or Opening day
  3. Did security come up to you at all when taking pics since you're in the parking lot?
  4. Being that Sick Kids has saved my life on 2 occasions I might actually throw some money down on this. Thanks for the update.
  5. That is where I will be on the Friday. Unless of course Transformers happens to soft open early!
  6. Exactly! At the end of the day people, this is a company. A company which needs to make money and what better way to make money then the offer of being able to skip a line! Either stand in the line and wait or bust open your piggy bank and buy a Q-Bot/Fast Lane/etc and have some fun!
  7. It's a premium service for those of you who want it. People standing in regular line have every right to go and purchase the Fast Lane passes themselves as well, so it's not like anyone is being left out of this opportunity. I say it's a good thing for the parks. Think of it this way, it's extra revenue in CW's/Cedar Fair's pockets which means the better chance at that money being spent on upkeep, new attractions, etc etc. If you are coming from out of town, which a lot of people will be doing this year for Leviathan, you are going to want to make sure you can get all your credits in on one day and the best way to do that is with the fast lane. Would I do this being my home park? I don't know, I think may I would try it just once for sure and would probably use it should I have guests coming in from out of town that want to visit the park. Good on CW and good on Cedar Fair! Keep up the good work of making CW one of the top tier parks out there!
  8. It's about 1.03 miles. Wow, that was the nerdiest thing I've ever said on here lol
  9. Here is a quick shot I took of the entire layout so far (as of Wednesday). I do have other pics that I took from the parking lot, and yes, security saw me and said nothing. But, just to not risk anything I will not post those pictures unless someone higher here at TPR gives me permission to do so.
  10. Wow is all I can say. That layout looks unique to say the least. I am curious to the theming as I know Alton is usually very good with how they theme their rides.
  11. ^I think they mentioned Knotts is doing a shirt for the event, but no word on SFMM. Hotel booked....tickets bought....car and plane will come last. WCB HERE I COME!
  12. Here's what I got $75 worth of Best Buy Gift cards Givenchy "NEO" cologne A soft serve ice cream maker A griddle and the most random gift of the year goes to a Domo Onesie pajama set. If I get enough people bugging I MAY be willing to post a photo of me wearing it, but only maybe Very laid back Christmas this year.
  13. - Behemoth in the back row. Being pulled over that first drop is incredible. - The Beast going into the helix of death. Just the build up into that turn, especially at night, has always given me goosebumps. - X2: any seat...wow
  14. I am just holding out till the group rate information at the Knotts Hotel is finalized, aside from that I am counting down. I think we're at 51 days left till WCB 2012 starts!
  15. Trim for sure, but not sure about cutting down. I know Wonderland has mentioned on a couple different occasions that their intention is not to remove that many, if any trees at all. I'd say that any tree they remove may just, if possible, be reallocated or replaced a short distance from the original location.
  16. Ahhh, thanks for the reply. That seems like a lot of work on your end so, I think to keep it simple i'll have to pass. If any other ways/options arise let me know or I'll keep my eyes open. Thanks again Robb.
  17. Best news I've heard all day. Can we still add the dinner option on if we've already purchased the ticket?
  18. Cool beans! I shall wait your word then until I book. Thanks again for all your help guys
  19. ^Stupid question, but would the group rate only be good for the nights you guys are staying at the hotel as well, or would it be applicable to someone like be that's going to be staying there from the 17th-21st?
  20. ^ According to http://www.taxime.ca/#from=buena+park+california+&to=Valencia+California the approximate rate is $163.63. That doesn't factor in traffic or anything.
  21. Ticket bought and all ready for my first WCB!!!
  22. Cool just wanted to make sure as I saw the "Use Club TPR Member Coupon Code" option and the only one I had was the one for DVD's and what not. No biggie, still signing up for it.
  23. Can i use my $10 Club TPR credit towards this?
  24. Hmmm, ok, looking into that now then as the Knotts hotel does seem to be the better option then. Thanks for the advice. Should I wait for the possibility of a group rate before booking? I am planning on staying the 17th-21st.
  25. No thoughts on Rodeway Inn? Or should i just dish out the $50 more and do the Knotts hotel?
