  1. This is very exciting! This looks like it will be a great coaster. The double up double down looks incredible. I'll definitely be there to ride this when it opens!!
  2. Excellent TR, Steve! I love the honey badger style of the captions!! I had such a fantastic time!! I miss everyone horribly though. The Jurassic Jungle Boat ride is such an experience. I've made everyone watch the video of the ride and I'm definitely going to make more people ride it next time I go back. I wish I was still back in the cabin, scary death drive up the hill and all.
  3. Great Miniland photos, Steve! The detail is very impressive. I can't wait to get to Legoland to see it.
  4. ^That was so hilarious. And then the mass exodus just as the ride is about to open again. It was really funny to watch them scramble back into lines though 10 seconds later when they started loading the train in the station.
  5. Today, a fellow co-worker at Publix told me that he can't wait to go out to Las Vegas in 10 days to ride his favorite coaster which is at New York, New York. He then asked me what I thought of the ride. How do you tell someone their favorite ride is complete trash? I really need to stop talking about coasters with people at work.
  6. The year of Ice Bat will be an amazing one! This sounds great!
  7. I love seeing what everyone has been receiving! This was such a great idea. Thanks, Brandy for organizing it!!
  8. I received an awesome box from my secret santa today!! Thanks so much!! Inside the box was a Domo backpack! What could be inside? The contents: Grinch pants, Yo Gabba Gabba socks, Shark/Creature 6 movie collection, candy canes that were already hanging on the tree, and other assorted awesomeness!!
  9. I got my Raw 2 Blu-ray and Raw 6 today. I used my club TPR codes and got myself a Christmas gift! Thanks so much, Robb and Elissa!!!
  10. SkyRush, Wild Eagle (opening weekend!!), and Verbolten. Also, finally getting to ride I305 too. And getting credit number 400 on Black Diamond at Knoebels! I'm actually planning my credits so that happens.
  11. Great photos, Steve! Pompeii looks amazing with the blue lights. I would love to see that in person. Verbolten is looking great. I can't wait to ride it. I'm definitely going to have to get up there next year!
  12. Excellent IAAPA coverage! I enjoyed every moment of the videos and found out about some really exciting new things coming up too! Great job, TPR!
  13. ^That crash was one of the scariest things I've ever seen. They really do need to slow them down. There's no time to react to anything at 220 mph. My thoughts go out to his family. So very sad.
  14. That day (and the night before) was so much fun! It was one of my favorite days of the trip. I had a blast hanging out with my favorite people as well! I miss you guys so much.
  15. That's an awesome old Knoebels brochure! I love that place! The Country Bear Show was removed in 1995 for Lazer Runner, which is a lazer tag game. I remember watching the Country Bear Show when I was a kid. I liked it when I saw it, but I hadn't been in it in years when it was replaced.
  16. Knoebels is doing an amazing job getting cleaned up after the flood! They still have a lot of work to do, but it's definitely looking better. On a positive personal note: My family's cabin is still standing. The swing and the chairs and everything outside is all gone, but the building is still there. There was possibly water inside. We'll find out more when my aunt and uncle go up there next week.
  17. Fingers crossed also....hope you hear that everything is fine. Thanks so much! We'll probably find out more in the next couple days.
  18. This is very sad to see. Knoebels has a lot of work ahead of them, but I have no doubt they'll get it all done. I've been to this park every year (but this year ) since the year I was born. I was spotting the debris and trying to figure out where it all belonged. On a more personal note: My family's summer cabin that's been around since the 1930s is about 15 minutes or so from Knoebels. We are very concerned about if it's still standing. The roads are all still closed up there so no one can get out to check on it. We're keeping our fingers crossed.
  19. Overheard on the brake run for Montu today: "The Simba is much better than this ride."
  20. Great Knoebels photos, Matt! I really love that place. I'm extremely disappointed that I didn't get to the park this year. Black Diamond looks amazing. I can't wait to ride it! Your TR is great and I'm looking forward to more photos.
  21. That lumberjack was hilarious! We were cracking up at that point. I loved Great Escape too. I find that I have more fun at the small parks than the huge corporate parks. The statues at Magic Forest were amazing! I sent a picture of the Allison rabbit to my cousin and creeped her out.
  22. Great TR and photos of the North East tour. It brought back great memories and a few things I had forgotten about. Thanks so much! It was great meeting you and Andrew too!
