  1. My top 12 in completely random order: Phoenix (Knoebels) - my number one coaster! Thunderhead (Dollywood) SheiKra (BGA) Lightning Racer (Hershey) Revenge of the Mummy (USO) Dueling Dragons (IOA) Scorpion (BGA) Jack Rabbit (Kennywood) Twister (Knoebels) Expedition Everest (DAK) Storm Runner (Hershey) Blazing Fury (Dollywood)
  2. Don't Download This Song is growing on me more as I listen to it more. But I think his new song "White & Nerdy" is even better. And the video is just hilarious. It's on you tube and also weirdal.com.
  3. I can't believe I'm about to put this on a theme park website, but I voted girl who likes girls and guys. I've pretty much known since I was about 12 maybe even longer, that was probably the age when I realized what it meant. I've always known people or had friends who were gay or bisexual. My two best friends are the ones I felt it was most important to tell and neither one of them (one a gay man and the other a straight woman) had any problem with it. There was a mention of the Kinsey scale (0-6) earlier and I would place myself at about a 1.5-2 range. I must say I read this whole thread last night and I'm very impressed at the fact that it remained (for the most part) very civil and I credit the wonderful people here at TPR for that.
  4. Roller coasters have actually helped me overcome my fear of heights for the most part. I still get nervous on ferris wheels and drop rides (the kind that shoot you up are fine), but there's no roller coaster I wouldn't get on. I was a little nervous before SheiKra last summer but once we started dropping it was all fun. I absolutely can't wait to get to Cedar Point and get on Top Thrill Dragster. I'll probably be nervous while waiting, but the reward of the ride will definitely be worth it. I feel safe and secure on roller coasters being strapped into the train. It also helps me if I avoid looking at the ground and just look out at the scenery.
  5. I'm lucky enough to live about 2 hours from all the Orlando Parks, about 4 1/2 hours from Tampa, and a mere 45 minutes from the Dania Beach Hurricane. My aunt's house in Tennessee is 30 minutes from Dollywood. But the best (and ultimate in luck for me as an amusement park fan) is that my mom's family is from Pennsylvania and one of her cousin's married into the Knoebel family! And if that isn't enough, another one of my mom's cousins is John Fetterman (Knoebels fans will recognize his name from the Twister and Flying Turns). I feel incredibly lucky in this respect.
  6. I've got to go with Knoebels and Dollywood for overall food. Both of these parks' food is as much of a draw as the rides (usually food is an afterthought at parks). My dad doesn't like parks or rides and he'll go to both of these just to eat our way through the park. Best fries I've ever had are Kennywood's Potato Patch and the little stand near the Alamo at Knoebels.
