Shoot...that's the same time as my Texas trip. I really wish this event was in the fall like October. One of these years I'll make it.

Rapto6...A few weeks ago I inquired this same question of Alain Vleminckx and he said testing should begin by the end of the month (June). I would be a bit surprised if they make it, but then miracles do happen. I wouldn't count on it opening before July 4th.

Swoosh you keep saying for them to fix the TW rolling stock, so what exactly is wrong with the trains? By the way I rode TW last July...sadly it was not impressive & rough rough rough lol.

Yeah what's up with us still not having a park here in Nash? OL has been gone 10 years now and still no word on any new development. Maybe BB is secretly paying off our city officials to keep out competition. KIDDING!

It started at 12:30 with a meet at Swampwater Jack's for lunch. It seemed really impromptu as none of us were aware of it til we heard about it over the PA. I think about 8 to 10 people total showed up for it. I forgot to include that Jay mentioned a possible coaster event for the future. Did I mention I stopped by Guntown Mountain on the way to HWN?

Aww you missed the private tour of SFKK with Jay Thomas. We almost missed it too had we not been standing at the gate when they announced it over the PA. Jay fed us FREE lunch...yes FREE (thanks Jay & SFKK!)...at Swampwater Jack's, which was really good by the way, and then took us all around Splashwater Kingdom and over to T.E.D.'s track which is soon to be a goner for '08 stuph. We got up close and personal with Deluge. Jay invited us to try picking up a Deluge raft...HEAVY. It was supposed to test later that afternoon, but I had to leave to get my friends to the aeropuerto. Deluge looks like it's going to be WETT HOTT SUMMERR FUNN and should be open by now. Did I mention I stopped at Guntown Mountain on the way up to HWN?

Interesting TR. After having ridden both Kentucky Rumbler and Thunderhead weekends prior to my trip to HW last Sunday, I too was surprised at the lack of grease on The Voyage. KR & Thunderhead were greased really well. Then I arrived at HW with my first ride of the day being on The Voyage and I was like what...no grease? Seems strange.

Today was unfortunately a pretty rough day at HW. When I arrived at opening, Raven was broken, Legend was broken, and Voyage was having major computer problems. One train ops all day too. The ride ops also were very slow...seemed to be a lot of new employees still training. After 3 hours, Legend finally got up and running, and the park finally got good about 4 pm as people started to leave. Hope they can get it together before HWN in 2 more weeks.

Great park and nice pics. I loved the place to death back in '03. I need to get back over there again this season.

I sent in my registration last week. At least there'll be 2 of us there. Talk about massive ERT! I'm looking forward to it.
