^Don't mention it. UPDATE Even though it took me all afternoon to fix the position of it (I'm not kidding) the post section of the Direction signs have been created. What I plan of doing is having you guys position the signs on the post if you decide to expand the park or add more when you download it. I also solved another problem I had with grouping different objects into a set. Stay tuned as I finished the directional signs. THIS JUST IN!! One of the first signs has been created and it fits perfectly on to the post. The texture maybe a little blurry. Should I resize the image bigger? The whole set so far. You can place them anywhere on the tower!

Interesting question. I was thinking of a few places. Maybe have a revealing event at the neighborhood library. After that, maybe have it displayed at my school, if I do I'd need to create a plexyglasswindow surrounding the ride to prevent anyone from damaging it. Plus, there's a neighborhood fair that comes to my area, I could set it up there and sell T-Shirts to go along with it. I actually did create a t-shirt for this project back in January, but some of the color on the transfer is coming off. Lastly, I was thinking if it was possible, to see if some local amusement park would allow me to display it. As far as the project's duedate is, the school has no idea. I've heard like 3 different dates: -Sept. 2008 -December 2008 - February 2009 I hope it's latter and so far that seems like the likely date. Those are the places I'd like to display it. When the time comes I'll post the dates up on the calender. You guys are all welcome to come to the events.

We do have a lot of heritage over here. Even though Berks County isn't the biggest tourist trap, IMO its a hidden treasure. Did you know we have a pagoda?!

^I'm not so sure about the loop, but I'll try it when I can. The same goes for the brakes too, but I might try. The fence is a sure thing. I'll do both of them in that picture. Also, even though it's not a CS, I did create billboards for the rides using vending machine billboards. I could come out with a second set creating my own. The boardwalk path covers are 1/4 finished. Path cover (full)

December 2007. At the rate the construction of the park is going, it might not open on time. Back in November, local residents were invited to the park to tour the construction site. Although I didn't get a picture of the press confrence, I did get a few shots of Thunderbolt's construction. They were testing it today and the trains look like they came from Psyclone at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I really can't wait to ride on this opening day! Work on the new S&S drop tower is finished and it's name was revealed today. The Towering Two- Drop of Doom and Blast Off will launch or drop riders at a maximium speed of 75 mph and it's lighting is fantastic at night. Track Pieces have been spotted in the parking lot, Any thoughts? A few days later, I found that part of the parking lot was fenced off and coaster track was inside. Comments please! I tooks the night ride. From what I've heard, they are going to fix some problems with the lighting on the tower before the park opens. Early in December, they allowed us in the park again and gave us helicopter rides. Thunderbolt's station is complete. It just needs scenery. This has to be the best shot so far of the park. Almost at the end of my ride, I got a good view of the station. The park offered helicopter rides to tour the park. It gave me a lot of good photo ops like this one. The station is coming along really well.

This set is being created for my Hersheypark recreation and it will feature numorous amounts of objects found in the real park or around the park. So far I have only one object created, but that number will grow. If you have any requests on objects from the park you'd like for me to do, questions, or comments on the set, post them below and I'll try to replying them as soon as possible. And they will be added to the waiting list. This is my first set, so I might have a little trouble along the way. LIST OF OBJECTS CREATED: -Wooden Fence with angled handrail. -Boardwalk Pathcovers -Directional Sign post and Midway America Sign -Queue line fence -Do not stand up sign LIST OF OBJECTS IN PROGRESS: -Hersheypark Trashcan. -Directional Signs. -Banners. -Logo Signs. -100yrs. logo and improved logo. -Xmas Candylane lights. -Queue line fences and path fences. -Sooperdooperlooper loop (if possible?) -Storm runner brake run fins. -Clocks Wooden Fence

Six Months Later... November 2007- Apparently right after the announcement was made, construction started. The only rides that got built were Thunderbolt and Americana Wheel which came from Geauga Lake. I really hope that the park gets Beaver Land. The park entrance, Lot A for parking and the tunnel has been built so far. I can't wait until May 2008! I wonder why the crane is still on-site? Stay Tuned! The park office and entrance looks really cool from this angle looking at Thunderbolt. Just last month, they finished building Thunderbolt and it looks like they are already testing. Americana Wheel was the first ride to be constructed. Rumor has it that the name could be changed to Wilderness Wheel and it'll get a new paint job.

I'm running a 2 parks at once schedule, so I've decided to re-open this project and work on it with my HP recreation project. It's going to have a storyline with it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 2007- Just today while reading the Reading Eagle I came acrossed an exciting new article. Since I live near, looks like I can watch the construction. I just hope that the neighbors won't be bothered with the noise and traffic when it opens. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stay tuned for an update soon.

Hershey Park Roller Coaster Train

Wow for $215, that's cheap. Too bad I have no room and my parents won't allow me to bid on it. -
Six Flags Magic Mountain Announces "X2"
Ccron10 replied to Loco's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I can't wait to see this concept and the name isn't really cheesey when you think of it. There's Space Mountain 2 so why not X2? You could build a whole new coaster for that amount of dough, so there's so many possibilities and additions that they could add. -
Scale Coaster trains! Griffon and Alpengeist
Ccron10 replied to CD_Staff's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think it's open to the public from what I've heard. That looks awesome. Is the drop going to be available to buy? Jack, check your PM's. -

Roller Coaster on Moonlite

I remember seeing that coaster on a Wii commercial. It has to be the least intense Morgan coaster ever built, but it has to be good with the families. -
Hersheypark Announces Fahrenheit!
Ccron10 replied to Meteornotes's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
If it's going to interact with the pavilions, then I hope that the double corkscrews go over the buildings. That'd be cool! What about CRR catering? -
It's been awhile since I last posted a new picture update, so here are is the latest. The trains are slowly, but surely taking their shape. I had to make a few small measurement changes to the diameter of the frame. The bracket to attach the top wheels has been made. We've also created the saddles to attach the track to the supports tonight and we could have the spine attached by at least Friday. On to the pictures! Front or back view of the car. More soon. AN overall view of one of the train cars so far. The seat and restraint blueprints. Page one of the measurements for the parts on the train. The train blueprints. These are going to be the arms that are going to hold the seats.I will need to make an angled cut to do this. The frames for the train. A pin will be drilled into the centers so they will be able to pivot.

Which reminds me, I still need to add the roof to SR's station! I forgot about that.
