  1. Did those japanese people just walk up to you? Tokyo Disneyland TR's are always awesome from you guys!
  2. Idk. I'd head right to Fehrenheit when you get there because if you get in line and you need to leave the park early, then that would suck. I'd then also ride SR to get them out of the way. Just to warn you. I wouldn't go for the first seat on GB unless you'd be willing to wait an extra 10-15 mins.
  3. Great Park! I see you left some open land for us to expand on. Nice detail. Those 23 months were worth it!
  4. ^ If the turns were banked, then the Bat could probably still exist. That turn is really extreme. What happened to the trains?
  5. Wow! They really need to get track up soon. I have faith in Hershey to get it done on time, but it seems like they might be a little behind on schedule. I understand Voodoo not having any track or supports up because there isn't much track, but Fahrenheit should have some supports up by now. When I went up on Dec. 6, I do think I remember seeing something red or orangeish laying in the parking lot. It kind of looked like ride machinery or flat pieces of track. I could be wrong though.
  6. Are you going to put it up to download so we'd be able to tackle it? It's a really great park.
  7. It's great to see someone from TPR planning on doing custom scenery! You could use rotate, or you also couldcreate a 45 degree angled square in the middle of the pipe, cut the bottom part of it away (using the rise and lower tool) and extend the pipe to your disired length and cut another 45 degree angle off at the other end of the pipe. Good luck! The only problem I have with creating objects is positioning them to the right place so they show up the right way in the game. It gets easy the more times you create an object.
  8. I had a meeting in school for the project and the the official due date is Feburary 2009. This gives me 1 year and 2 months to complete the prototype, design the final layout, build it and document it. As far as progress, tonight we got the seats done. They look really cool and I think I have almost all the pieces for the train made execpt for the restraints and side wheel mounting brackets. I still need to get the wheels too. Post any ideas for the final layout as far as inversions and elements etc. How they'd be sitting on the cars.
  9. .......... The lighthouse. All that's left.
  10. Valut Icee!!!! I almost went to Target tonight and I wanted to get one of those.
  11. Bullying is the fact of life. There's always someone picking on the minority and if everyone was the same, then this wouldn't happen. Ever since I was in kindergarten I've been picked on. I've never gotten involved in a fight and never received any in-school punishment. Lately, all those years of being patient and smart paid off and now people are starting to respect me as a normal person, but I do still get picked on but it's only from the kids with no brains at all. I just ignore them. If this doesn't stop, I'd talk to your school's principal if I were you, so your son, and the kids picking on him would be able to settle this in the safest way possible. Trust me, this will work. It 99% of the time does.
  12. ^ The doors are from Shyguy's Main Street 2 set. I'd recommend getting the first set with it so no objects would be missing or the set not working.
  13. UPDATE #36 After visiting the park yesterday (but not going in) I decided to step up progress. Most of the Boardwalk midway is finished. Dunkin' Donuts, the Guess Your Weight game, German Kettle Corn Stand, CRR Photo, and Wave Photo buildings have been built. The street lights, trees and bushes have been built. Roller Soaker construction isn't that far off. Comments Please. The Dunkin' Donuts building. German Kettle Corn Stand. Canyon River Rapids Photo. The Boardwalk midway with the lamp posts. Wave Photo. The surf boards along the side of the building will be added later.
  14. Cool! Nice to see the FF idea is coming back. Too bad that Hershey didn't get it.
  15. ^You mean Pennsylvania. Yes, and from it being my "home park". I'll be heading to Hersheypark Stadium on Saturday for a football game and I'll be at the park next Thursday. I plan of taking pics to get ready for the Christmas Candylane Re creation.
  16. So is this similar to creating a group park or do we send in designs to create the park? Sounds like a great idea and I'd be willing to help. *800th post*
  17. ^Stand-Up or Flyer, those haven't seem to be used yet. Hopefully it will help the park bounce back.
  18. MAY 2008 (MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND) GRAND OPENING! As of 9 a.m. this morning Wilderness America Amusement Park officially opened it's doors! After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Park Manager, Jake Francis gave a short speech to the press. After my first trip today I got a few favorite rides and X Rider has to be at the top followed by Whacky Mouse. The overall park was nicely themed and I found that "suprise" the manager was talking about. Comments please! Stay Tuned for a mid-late 2008 update and news on the 2009 addition. Comments Please! What could this mean?......... Wilderness Fort had to be the least busiest area of the park. Whacky Mouse was a big hit! Those main gate ticket lines are FULL! And the gates are open! Let season begin! The staff is getting ready for the big day!
  19. A wooden coaster would've looked better. Sorry to say this.
  20. ^ Too late. Sorry. April 2008 After a long winter (sorry but I didn't get that many pics) the park is almost ready to open! Half of the land has been developed and I'm taking a bet the rest will be for expansion. The fort has been completely built and it looks awesome. The center of the fort is filled with a bunch of shops, restaurants, and seating area. There's also a carousel. 4 other coasters have been built to accompany Thunderbolt: Whacky Mouse is a spinning wild mouse ride from Wild West World and should serve as a great family ride. X Rider, a Stand-up X car coaster, is probably going to be one my favorite rides just by looking at it. It acts like a swinging ship flying through the station a couple of times. Limit 55 is a modified Schwartzkopf flywheel coaster with two 90 degree towers and a loop. The launch speed is around 55mph. Super Soaker is a water coaster similar to Roller Soaker at Hersheypark, but it's much wetter. Another that should be a hit with the families. With the Opening date on Memorial Day next month, a few things still need to be done: parking lots and a possible fireworks display. Stay tuned for the opening day update! Well, this is the last time I'll be heading inside the park until it opens. See ya then! Thunderbolt got lifthill lights and was testing again. A behind the scenes tour was offered the day I got this photo. The wet zone. I hope some fountains will be added. Limit 55 and Super Soaker in the upper part of the pic. The centerpiece to Wilderness America Just as it was when it was at WWW Gotta love the slide.
  21. A mexican boardwalk? There's something strange about that. Maybe it will sound better once it's built. Great park so far.
  22. Update. After a few hours of repositioning the objects (and I still need to do more of that) I've got 4 new objects done. I finished the boardwalk pathcovers, the coaster sign, but could someone tell me how to fix the direction of the texture? And my fav. the queue line fencing, which I still need to position. my new objects
  23. ^Well, one of my friends went to the park yesterday and he might know and like I said above, I'll be going soon so I'll look while I'm there.
  24. Hershey isn't the only people using NL for their ride rendering, it's being used for Pony Express, the mini spinnig wild mouse design that Zamperla is making and the 90 degree inverse coaster rendering. I'll be heading to HP at the beginning of December to check out construction and take pics.
  25. They have one of Hp's FF cars there? Cool. I hope IAAPA comes to Philly because then I would go to it. Awesome report. Did you see that UFO themed water slide on display?
