Was just at Hershey a couple weeks ago and didn't ride Roller Soaker because I hate getting wet in regular clothes.

It is so weird because it doesn't look real to me. It looks like everything is an animation for some reason. Does anyone else notice that?

I know our group had a blast, even thought this is our home park and we ride these coasters all the time. The highlites for me were ERT on Mindbender and Goliath, EBT, TPR Quest, the backstage tour and the water challenge on GASM. The water challenge was one of the most fun times I have ever had on a coaster and I hate getting wet (cheers Dan.) Thank you to Robb, Elissa, Brad and SFOG for putting on such a fun event!!!

The weather was pretty dang nice yesterday and it was only about a 5-10 minute wait on most rides if even that. Even Batman was only a one train wait and that NEVER happens. Saturdays generally tend to be a little busier but unless there are any groups there (besides us of course) then it shouldn't be too bad.

GASM has been really smoothed out since the last 2 years. Back in 08 or 09 it felt like it had square wheels but now that they retracked and added new wood all over it, it is much, much smoother than it was but with that bumpiness of a good classic woodie. Rode it yesterday and this challenge should be tons of fun. I can't wait!!!

Wow, we were just at Hershey, Knoebels, Dorney and GrAdv just last week and then to see these pictures of where I was standing look like this is crazy! I cannot believe that we just so happened to plan our trip right in between the terrible hurricane and all this flooding. We got really lucky but I feel sorry for all these parks and the damages the water has done. It really sucks and I wish them all a speedy recovery.

This is so crazy! We were just at this park last Friday. I even took a photo of one of those benches that is stuck in the kiddie coaster entrance. We were even talking about the flood lines they have around the park from the past. So bizarre.

I have done 16 rides in a row on opening day once. My partner and I will take you on (as he would be on it the entire ERT time anyway.)

That coaster has already been built...it is called Oblivion.

Sir Clinksalot, you may also ride with us just as long as you don't take the back seat as I would hate for you to feel the wrath of the back seat-leave that to ShivTim and I. We will gladly take the beating it serves up. (plus I don't see anywhere you called it first- ) And I agree that everyone else should flock to GA Cyclone as it is a MUCH better ride than Mindbender.

I agree with ^shivtim^ it is really awful and I will also take one for the team and ride with him.

I must say that I am really not to happy about this. Sure it is a great ride for the GP but I was really hoping the Huss GF rumor was going to come true as it is my fav flat and there are only 2 of them. They are both in OH so it is rare that I get to ride them. I just have no interest in riding a windseeker. Rob "You keep letting me down Carowinds" Mc

So a few people on here have said that the Gigas should be left up to Intamin and that this ride looks lame. I would much rather have a giga that runs consistantly and doesn't have to be trimmed/changed 3-4 times in the first year than one that did. Yeah, so far this ride may look like a bigger B&M hyper but I think it is going to be an amazing ride and I for one cannot wait to ride it. The first drop alone with just clam shell restraints is going to be sick! And hey if you don't like it then stay home so the ones of us who do can ride it as much as we want when we go!

Ok, so I was wrong thinking it would be an Intamin by the first pics of supports. EPIC FAIL! Now that we know it is a B&M, I am gonna call either dive machine or invert. Just hoping it's not a floorless or flyer because although I am a B&M fanboy, I am not a fan of those models.

I have never seen B&M footers that look like that....it is obviously Intamin and Screamscape is saying that it is a giga because someone saw a tag on one of the footers that said giga caps. Calling it now, Intamin Giga or Hyper similar to Hersheys.

Sorry but I was very underwhelmed by their announcement. It is great for their revenue and for people that love water parks (even though I think this is just an oversized Wildebeest.) I have absolutely no interest in this ride at all. I will return to Holiday World for The Voyage and Raven but I have never returned to a park for a waterslide. They just don't do anything for me. Here's looking forward to their next year announcement.

As much as I love Dollywood, I have never understood why TN doesn't have more than one park. I really think that Nashville could use a park. Yes, I know there was Libertyland and Opryland but since they are long gone I could see Nashville getting a really nice park.
