  1. What bothers me is how a band like Green Day still exists. I thought they were uninventive back in the 90's. I swear, they HAVEN'T CHANGED. My gawd, whatever happened to the Madonna's, the Princes? I mean, is all we have wrapped up these days in someone like a KanYe West? The fact that U2 is still around and that the Rolling Stones still exist and make a lot of money I think is just sad. Our American civilization is dying! (same beef with t.v. shows -- no more seinfelds these days)
  2. Uh, walked by MK tonight, actually went last night....I think (ITs ALL A BLUR!)
  3. My pimp recommended this site to me. oh and Westcoaster. or Taylor Jeffs -- don't remember now.
  4. I've been there too a few times -- I didn't like that they were directing us backstage and stuff -- didn't sit well with me -- the magic left! BUt you do get out of MK rEALLY quickly. I've been backstage at DL in the Splash area, and at WDW there isn't a place I haven't been it seems like.
  5. Hmmm. Let's see there's Thunder's Place BeoWorld And OF COURSE can't forget! Don't click here!
  6. I'm happy that I don't live in 'the projects' which were flooded and the stank of dead people and the sound of screaming isn't filling my ears as I ponder whether or not to risk my life wading through disease infested waters to get to a freeway on ramp that might or might not help matters post a hurricane scenario. I'm happy that I don't have a normal job with normal people (wait a minute...) I'm happy that I'm not forced to work at a job I don't like and that I can afford pretty much anything i want (I'm just too cheap to buy it). I'm happy that my wife puts up with me . . . I could go on for ever....
  7. Let's not forget Tom's great turn on that short lived NBC show Freaks and Geeks. Great Job (can YOU act like that Robb? huh? Huh? can you?) j.k.
  8. Nothing but the bed sheets. Again (its the story of my life).
  9. I can't believe someone said Kristy McNichol lol -- that's soooo specific in taste, but I liked her too. then she got cancer or real tired all the time or something.... forgot which one, disappeared off of that Touchstone t.v. show Anyway, this is going to come off weird -- now looking at my list, I must have had (or just plain have) something for older women 1) Linda Evangelista -- canadian supermodel, don't hear much from her these days "Oh Jose, those were the days" 2) Carole Boquet (OMG --- effing hot -- that is all I have to say. could be the most beautiful woman alive (my wife is close behind her)- I would ahem her in a heartbeat -- constant living proof that any woman with long hair gets instant hotness factor -- remember for your eyes only? good lord, that hair, it had me intoxicated at the age of 8 (when that bond film came out on t.v.) "Oh Jose, you silly boy! Of course we'll meet one day! I am too beautiful, and you are too handsome for us not to meet!" 3) And finally...Isabella Rosselini -- doesn't do too much for me anymore now that I learned she's my mother's age!), but man that woman is beautiful. Especially those tresor ads Could only find this pic thats decent: goodness- - - Then there were the 'real girls' well, I was very lucky, i always had great looking girlfriends, so I can't complain - - both high school 'crushes' are now married. The one that was my age neglected my heart (and married a male model, damn I had no chance). Cold hearted BITCH! the other, well, she was this italian girl with an incredible sense of humor, we could talk for hours, but alas, it was never meant to be --my dear Concetta! I was such the fool for not paying enough attention to you.
  10. When I was seven, I stole $3200 in petty-cash in one day.
  11. Why on earth would anyone bag on Tom Wilson? I for one think he's very cool. I would never do this in his shoes, yet he did it for me! Two thumbs up.
  12. Fox was showing over $6 a gallon for the premium outside of Atlanta (across the street, it was $5 -- so we are getting close to you Soren!) At Disney Epcot and MK (HESS) its 2.99 premium as of 10 p.m. tonight. a) I'm glad I work from home and b) I'm glad I have a scooter to take me to close places if I need to go somewhere and c) I guess I'm glad I can actually walk pretty much anywhere in town. for a movie -- groceries -- etc. Let's hear it for new urbanist stuff...I think. Wow. Feel for you folks who have to drive to work, and drive far. And I guess I'm glad I got rid of my sports car when I did -- friggen 17/22 mpg gas whore!
  13. Things don't have to be perfect to warrant discussion or consideration. I can count on at least three attractions over the last year that have had serious development and visible construction before a press release by Disney. Its thoughtless to believe press releases makes things magically official. Its just as thoughtless to believe a press article makes it official either. Hence my question mark. That comment about people on these boards knowing what they talk about goes both ways. My contacts are disney corporate who teach at Rosen College of Hospitality and friends who work within Disney corporate. J.
  14. el oh el. True dat about Space -- they have this weird tarp thingy I think you have to go through (not fun).
  15. But its not a press release, so its not official http://corpinfo.universalstudios.com/presskit.asp?kit=7&sheet=15 lol.
  16. Its called a breeder! No criminal activity necessary! Sheesh Breed: Abyssinian. (that beauty does cost something). A younger picture of him this April:
  17. I'm tempted to be fair and add a picture of Dennis's fantasy version of his hot tub...
  18. Oh MrsE! You'd have to have an 'uber' serious earthquake for that thing to crush all the cars below. California engineering code is a beeyotch for structural integrity. I know its not everyone's favorite place but there are SERIOUS pros to that structure, and apparently cons -- a deathtrap -- hooray! danandjackie thanks for the compliment, I don't imagine they are new trains just retrofitted with the new tech? I remember living in cali during that addition. Don't know when this happened at WDW. I like DL's BTMR and WDW's BTMR train tech little bit of it all. It was a hoot to watch the thing start to go backwards into the barn. I hear DLP's BTMR rocks. p.s. lived in lancashire for a few months -- beautiful there Allison, took the liberty square entrance on the way in, and adventureland on the way out (and walking through the stores).
  19. Right, well - - - several major national respected news papers are good enough for me thanks. Barring catastrophic failure in Hong Kong, the project is going ahead (WDI is already involved). Competition like Universal in the area also is a major factor.
  20. Yah, I heard that too from my brother that Batman was decent. I don't know, looked kinda gay from the outset -- I mean, there were so many major male characters Bale, Freeman, Neesen, Caine, Oldman-- whatever happened to the duo of Batman and his chick? What about a female villain? Man remember Michelle Pheifer?! Wow. Could watch her all day in the cat suit. WHat I found odd about the Brothers Grimm movie is that it shifted marketing gears midway. Now trailers don't talk about how Brothers Grimm were duping towns out of money building fake monster etc. (only seen the trailers) I don't know....how is the imax print?
  21. I think there are pros and cons to this decision. Its not all good. Its not the end of the world.
  22. No offense . . . but you're a hypocrite. You don't even live near Watermania and you complain. lol
