Looks fun. Something even I'd do because it doesnt spin at like 100 mph.. haha. I think they should have a cracking sound and then the dropping part speeds up with a jolt the first time it lowers just to scare everyone. I can't get over the bird though.. some scary #$#^. Great video too! My computer is now loaded with coaster/testing videos and just about all of them have what I swear is the same techno music.. :radio: Eric

I read somewhere that that song is done by the same composer as "It's a Small World"... much better and doesn't cause nausea! haha Here's some more Carousel trivia, The voice of the guy is actually "Ralphie" from A Christmas Story and throughout the ride he makes a reference to "Schwartz" and the Chinese restaurant they eat dinner at on Christmas is in the background of one of the scenes. Epcot opened in 1982, the Swan and Dolphin were under construction for 8 years? I'm so confused :shock: As for the Indiana Jones rumor.. I think that'd be awesome. But It doesnt make sense to use the Dinosaur technology for a second time at WDW. (Although I love Dinosaur).. Now an Indiana Jones ride using Spiderman/DarkCastle technology would be sweet Just imagine hanging over a rope bridge staring down at crocodiles.. or doing a part similar to the mine car chase.. Really.. Wonder if they are finally going to go forward with the "Western Town themed" Fort Wildnerness Outpost, moderate resort.. I remember reading some story on that somewhere but it was scrapped... they are due for a new Moderate Resort sometime soon.. have their value in Pop and new DVC Saratoga, and tons of Deluxe.. ^-of course that was going to go on the back road that leads from Ft. Wilderness to the Wilderness Lodge. Jose.. or anyone. Do you know any site or know of any renditions of the Bonnet Creek Resort? I'm really hoping they conform to Disney standards and not Swan and Dolphin standards Eric

They closed at 3pm a few weeks ago.. on the same day that PKI closed early due to bad weather. However, the weather in VA that day was 50's and sprinkling.. so they probably closed due to attendence which is a really cheap thing to do. Eric

I have never been let down by a day at PKD.. it definately ranks up in my top 10 parks. But 8pm closings?? I'll gladly drive the extra hour to go to BGW then. The way Paramount is treating PKD this year (closing early (3pm) on a sunny day and early closings all year) I wouldnt bet on a new coaster anytime soon! Knoebels doesn't either. Just thought I'd throw that in there But my defense on the subject is that Hersheypark charges $6.. reasonable.. Disney $8.. ehhh getting there.. but isnt Six Flags Great Adventure like $12 this year?!? I'd park a mile away and walk.. Eric

I'm surprised they tore down the security kiosk completely. It was there the last year and a half I was in FL but there was never anyone inside. Then they took it out completely. I dont think Disney has to worry about much though.. most guests have a hard enough time finding their way to the MK let alone worry about figuring out how to avoid the parking fee. That and you have to be smart enough to drive past the resorts and then cut back in to the lot. If I had to pay for parking I'd just self park at the Grand Floridian and take the monorail over.. more fun than the tram in the TTC.. Shhhh.. Eric

Yay.. dragon talk. Anyways, I sat behind controls on this ride for countless hours so let me give you all my two cents. Dragons is very different from most coasters because of the lift. Personally, I was a trainer and had coaster talk with the tech's all the time and weight plays a very little factor... The trains ALONE weigh 14 tons (28,000 pounds.. crazy isnt it?).. so having a few large people in a train isnt going to hurt the dueling. The lifts are timed.. but only to an extent. There is a "point of no return" where if we would dispatch Ice late.. Fire would might slow down and creep up the lift.. but once it reaches a certain point it will speed up and go like normal and the train will go over. If you have been on Dueling Dragons a lot you'd probably noticed that if we see someone doing something stupid like taking off their belts or eat.. (even smoking.. stupid people) we stop it between the station and lift, on the transfer track. We do that because the other train on the lift wont slow down unless the train is in the transfer block. If Ice is dispatched, and Fire has someone who wants off or something and is still in the station.. Ice will never slow down and go up the lift like any other coaster. Confusing.. Eric

I saw the first one.. and now I saw the second one (forced to on a rainy day) and now I feel like 4 hours of my life have been ripped away from me. Didn't think it was scary at all, but I guess it'd be pretty hard to make a scary movie in desensitized America today. Now.. SAW on the other hand. That movie had the BEST acting EVER .. just kidding. But I think it was a better movie once you get past the B rate horror cult classic Evil Dead style acting. Eric

LOL.. was always fun working there when it was downpouring. All the guests were screaming in pain in the rain. We also let the train stop coming into the unload station so all the water dumps forward onto everyone.. We're mean. Anyways, I've never heard of a park running a coaster in hail! They must be insane. At IOA the first sign of thunder/lightning/orange or red on a weather map we're down. Eric

LOL!! The picture with the mask is great. I bet that really freaked out some people coming off the ride, just looking right into the camera. The Tower of Terror picture is one of the best. It's somewhere on the site.. I've always wanted to get a game of poker going for the ToT Onride. Eric

Great TR! How bad were the crowds that day? I heard from my friend at teh Y&B club last week that they closed the lot for the Magic Kingdom.. much like during New Years/Christmas. Crazy! Hmmm.. I remembered while being couseled about something there was a HUGE map of IOA in the room and had several areas marked "future expansion".. they are mostly obvious.. behind Unicorn, JP back area, behind Cat in the Hat where the Field of Screams was.. nothing in Marvel though. But def. Elissa.. if CP and Blackpool can do it.. IOA definately can fit anything in! Eric
