I think Ghostrider during the first Winter Coaster Solace was one of my favorite roller coaster moments ever. Wasn't it foggy or something that night? I also remember hearing somebody on the train that evening exclaim 'I think I just lost my virginity again' and we were all like wowwww....ok. But anyway, that coaster was something else when it first got here, and unlike Psyclone, Knotts can't blame an earthquake for messing it up!

Fair enough...now if you could actually weed out the Fanboys at the parks.....

The last thing I remember posting was exactly what you're referring to... a picture reply of Mr Toads Wild Ride to a 'How ya doin, Disneyland?' People Mover picture. That could have definitely been it? I thought it was in good humor, that being said I'll be on good behavior from here on out.

So I cannot comment or 'like' any TPR posts anymore. Do you have any idea what happened? Was I naughty at some point and said something I shouldn't have? Please let me know as I enjoy interacting with the masses over there somewhat as much as I enjoy it here. Thanks.

Paris should consider itself lucky if their IASW is only 6 minutes long Cool report, always love backstage shenanigans, even if you had douchey Americans trying to milk it.

Photo TR: Six Flags America Shenanigans

I have somehow missed this thread the whole time, but dang! You write great PTR's!!! -
I know this is the SFMM thread but you guys can tone it down a notch. The boneyard is not in view of the park unless you are on an attraction, and the construction area looks like what it is. A construction area. Also, it's the off season. SFMM isn't perfect but words like 'pathetic' and 'filthy' are a little over the top.

My 2 cents on the mountain is that I hope they keep it. I'm a big fan of the nature theme (Rapids Camp Crossing, Grizzly River Run, Splash Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Camp Snoopy). 1) Canyon Blaster will be considerably less interesting without the rock work. 2) The whole park will look more like a ghetto carnival without the rock work. 3) The mountain is the only thing in this place that makes it 'feel' like a theme park. Without it I doubt I would have any interest in spending time here other than a credit run. -

I think it's an excellent name for a coaster. It's supposed to be creepy and awkward and it succeeds. -

And suddenly I see a winter trip to Tokyo on the horizon for me. -
I feel like RMC is ushering in a new Golden Age of wooden roller coasters. These look like all those crazy old 1920's coasters like the Crystal Beach Cyclone except that they actually work and don't need to employ a nurse on the unload platform. 5 years ago we thought TG, Rattler, and other previously epic coasters would just be torn down and become a thing of the past. Now they are being revived to their former or even 'intended' glory, and we are lucky to see it happening! I don't care if you call it steel or wood or whatever (TOTALLY uninterested in that conversation), but one thing I know is that they are awesome looking!
