  1. The errors of the technicians is mind-boggling to me. Even if you are stressed you should triple check when making such potentially dangerous/life threatening decisions as ignoring block warning is. I don't understand how they can still be employed, they don't seem to know what they are doing. But sure, routines and employee education may be very lacking also.
  2. Translated: 41m Giant Frisbee (looks like Intamin?) and 50m tall dive coaster, longest in Europe. Well not gonna lie dive coasters aren't for me, but I can imagine the GP will eat it up.
  3. I forgot that we have seen a concept video of a RMC T-rex coaster. On second though I wouldn't mind a RMC (But please no invert;)

  5. Awesome! Liseberg also has a press release on their site confirming that they will announce news for 2018. An invert seems kinda lame, a flying B&M like Starry Sky Ripper would be perfect though! Nothing like it in Scandinavia, I would never complain over a RMC either. But im going to do it anyway! A RMC would be slightly too similar of an experience to Helix. Flying would stand out more in Lisebergs coaster selection I feel like.
  6. Seriously though its prolly partly a cost issue, Helix cost around $35 Million USD. (I know the budget exceeded 250m SEK) Compared to Banshee, the tallest invert ever, that cost $24 Million USD.
  7. Looks great! Except please no RMC Goliath clone!!!
  8. I cant imagine it being anything else then a tower ride for that spot. But interesting nonetheless
  9. Wait, so this park both has the Intamin mega & launched shuttle?! That is a seriously impressive line-up I have to say
  10. One of the best news to me is the new Intamin train designs . Makes me want to see more Intamins again, thier trains were seriously lacking compared to Mack ones!
  11. Liseberg removes its ferris wheel and two S&S-towers for a major attraction next year! http://www.dn.se/nyheter/sverige/liseberg-skrotar-klassisk-attraktion/?l1
  12. One thing I don't see discussed a lot is the Intamin trains, for accelerator coasters at least. For me they really seem dated compared to for example Mack Rides ones. I've ridden a lot of Intamins and Macks back to back, and the train makes a huuuuge difference! The lap bar, the almost floorless seats ( your feat are dangling) much more comfortable and airy imo. In intamin trains its like you sit inside of a cart. Intamin train designs are like 16+ year old. I really wish more parks open their eyes for Mack!
  13. It definitely runs a little bit faster in the afternoon . Also in regards to the rattle its annoying how different ride experiences can be, I wonder how much is subjective though. But I have herd of wheel changes making differences etc so who knows.
  14. Im curious how Expedition GeForce is holding up, I rode it in April and it was rattling a lot throughout the whole ride unfortunately. I had looked forward so much to ride so it really sucked. Is it better now during the summer? Holiday Park take care of your intamin!
  15. ^The park didn't look that little too me . Thanks for this! I really liked all the pov's, this park looks to have a great combination of slides!
  16. I was there recently, I would say plan your day before! Its a big park and you get tired from all the walking, so ride all the rides in one area. Start with Blue Fire and Wodan timbur, I think those get the longest lines, or heck I think most rides have long lines in june. Also ride Silver Star in the afternoon so it gets to warm up and dont forget a front seat ride! Have fun
  17. Wodan Timbur Coaster @Europa Park was so rough, it really hurt riding it towards the front! Me and my friend honestly cant believe why any park would invest money in these types of rides. Some of the GP sounded enthusiastic after the ride was over though which I had a very hard time relating too. I guess I can see the something in the wildness of the ride but it wasn't a pleasant experience. They are quite cheap though but id rather see a park wait some years too save up for something more re-rideable.
  18. Helix @Liseberg cost $30,000,000+ (~250 million SEK). I think this is one the highest non-themed coasters. The dollar has been fluctuating lately so hard to say exactly though, it was $36,000,000 when it premiered.
  19. Okay thanks! Right now it looks like we can only go during the week of 22 of June. What crowds can we expect during weekdays?
  20. Hello! Me and some friends were planning on visiting Thorpe Park from Sweden in June. How are the crowds 15-26 of June? Is there a differnce between 15 and 26 of June? Thanks for the help
  21. Has anyone tried out the haunted house? Any enthusiast review online? Cant find anything
  22. Worst of all the hypers I have heard. No airtime except for the first drop when me and a friend rode it in the morning. It warmed up later in the day though so maybe a little bit air time on the hills. Arthor was amazing for a family ride !
  23. This really looks like a top 5 steel coaster to me! Might have to spend a weekend in Germany this summer
  24. Hey regular Europa Park visitors! Me and my friend are going to visit Europa Park next week from Sweden. As coaster enthusiasts we are wondering if there are any special seats on the coasters that we should check out? We generally ride everything in the back! Any other cool general tips, food, etc are much welcome! (:
  25. Some people here seems to be delusional, there is no huge backlash against Fury, some people thought it was just fun, not amazing. This is a discussion forum, a little debate about a very hyped coaster isn't the same as a flame war.
