  1. A ride themed to eyesight? Glasses are a figure 8 shape... figure 8 style looper? lol... Ice *Nothing else to do other than speculate* Dragon
  2. I swear to God, KidTums is freakin' awesome! She already got her first credit???? She's beaten me by 2 years! Looks like everyone had a good time... Can't wait to get on one!
  3. Lou: awww... I wanted to ride the panda... Richard: Tough, you chose the giraffe and I chose the panda! Plus, I had shotguns!
  4. You think thats bad? The Beast at Alton Towers has trims on its first drop!
  5. I've never had anything beyond a few pieces of gum on fences, bits of litter here and there, but the worst queue to get stuck in (in my opinion) is Air at Alton Towers. All you can see is trees and I bet when it's hot you die in the queue.
  6. any good Ops on a Top Spin that can get the gondola swinging fast create good G's, same with a Triple Play before the arms lift, one at a local park puts 4+ G's on you for a good 7 or 8 seconds... it's the best part of the ride
  7. Attach three or four ACEr's to the top of it and get them to jump... (just kidding )
  8. The advertisements showed it as a red track I believe... Must visit this place again, I haven't seen it since 1998...
  9. She's deffinitely got more park credits than me lol. Any more pictures of the little tyke? She's sooo adorable!
  10. It's a shame to hear you didn't get what you wanted, but it's even better you're still going through with the performance! Remember: saying 'good luck' is bad luck, saying 'MacBeth' in a theatre will probably kill you and last of all: Have fun!
  11. Worst: popular coasters getting queues over an hour Best: finding out they're working out queue times on averages and actually the wait is only 25mins! (God bless Nemesis)
  12. Probably a little late in saying this, but... Maybe you could leave some of the trains white so people can make their own designs? Kinda like Warhammer or any other game like that, but with coasters? Also, wil they be selling in England? (Please do ) They look amazing! Will definitely try to get my hands on one
  13. It makes me miss it too... AND I HAVEN'T EVEN BEEN YET!!! Aaaawwww... I wish I could've come... Ice *not for another 2 years* Dragon
  14. Didn't know there were so many musical-lovers out there... It may not be Broadway or the West End, but there's a little Theatre in Brentwood (England) that does the most fantastic pantomime-like shows! I first saw Meg and Mog there about 4 or 5 years ago and, for a low-budget, local venue, it was pretty realistic! They even got a broom to fly without wires! (although the trick is ruined if you sit at the edges). Each year the shows seem to get better and better. They aim it at kids, but there are some jokes that adults will laugh at, but there's loads of audience participation, very few actors, but it feels magical! Heh, this may seem like advertising, but if anyone lives in or near Brentwood (either than myself or Thorpe park maniac), I hope you go along this year! It's well worth the £10 you may have to pay for transport or entry!
  15. It's a shame the ride was refurbed or whatever as I was a centimetre too short to go on it when I last went... However, either this Halloween or Christmas we're going back! What's changed to make it Space Mountain: Mission 2?
  16. Vertical is my first choice as it produces great amounts of airtime! If only the could work out how to make the train stop on the vertical (so both rows/all three rows are facing down). After, it would have to be a turn like Nemesis or Nemesis Inferno. Nemesis because it turns around and you get a great view of pretty much everything before the true ride starts, and N:I because you get an extensive view of the entire park before being whipped round a massive turn into the loop... Yay for drops!
  17. I'm glad you didn't give up after the passing of the first-born and am very excited for you! Congratulations!!! May your child be at peak fitness throughout his/her life! Another child to steal for the kiddie credits
  18. I had a dream I was being bitten by mosquitos and i ended up scratching my body pretty badly... i got a few cuts and red lines, but thats it...
  19. Speaking of foreign people sleeping in public, I saw a Chinese guy fall asleep reading the paper in the Asda Restaurant today... They called security in to wake him up. He had completely forgot he was in a shop and not at home... lol
  20. Just got on a course for a Diploma in IT (worth 3 A Levels grade A-E) and have just found out that in January for 4 days I'll be at Dineyland Paris as a part of the course . Don't ask what We'll be doing, but apparently it's been very popular with anyone that went... For a coaster enthusiast who thought he'd never work for a small theme park, let alone a major brand one, I'm red dawn excited!!! I hope to see a few of you there, I *should* be getting a TPR shirt to sport, so look out for a guy in one of them! Can't wait!
  21. Sitting here waiting for the AntiVirus to finish searching for problems, I decided to listen to a few songs. My favourite came on and inspired this topic. What are your favourite musicals? What do you want to see in the future? My favourites include: The Lion King (The intro nearly made me cry, it was fudging fantastic!) We Will Rock You (I'm a big Queen fan and this was the perfect opportunity to sing along with the songs with loads of other fans/musical-goers) Starlight Express (Saw this as a child with my parents and instantly loved it... Especially as the actors were on skates!) and, finally The Rocky Horror Picture Show. This is very self explanatory for those who have seen the DVD or video, but watching it live is a whole other experience. The costumes, songs, twists and dances were bloody brilliant and you HAVE to participate, no matter how skeptical you are!
  22. Analysis: you're a coaster nerd
  23. Let him have his fun... The whole idea of the program is to let you simulate rides realistically or make a fantasy ride you'll never see in real life... At the moment I have a spinning inverting coaster in my artillery... Not that I'd want to ride one anyway! (or would I?...)
  24. Claw of Doom, Top Star I think it's called, Alerions themed to airplanes, Roll-O-Planes, can't think of any more... They are very good though
  25. Does having a ride removed then replace a year later? If so, The Flying Fish was
