  1. I thought it was a little rough, but my friend had some back issues the rest of the day. I haven't been on it since 04 though. My wife's mom lives in St Louis and next week we are going down there. Only thing is my wife is pregnant so we aren't doing Six Flags. I was hoping to ride the new tower.
  2. We used it in September. It is kind of hard to locate someone at the airport depending on what concourse you are on. Just find someone with the giant Mickey hands and they will tell you how to get there to check in. I was really impressed with the fact they loaded up the bus, put everyone's luggage on depending on where you are staying, and dropped everyone off at the apporiate hotel. Then, all you gotta go is check in at the hotel and the bell people take your bags to the room for you. You won't deal with bags at all once you get on the bus. I don't know how it is to get back to the airport on land because we took the land/sea package. I do know that on the boat we put or luggage outside our door that night, and they made sure it got on the bus and with us to the airport.
  3. No particular order: Tower of Terror (WDW) The safari ride at DAK can't remember real name Test Track (Epcot) Dudley Do-Right (IOA) Dueling Dragons (IOA)
  4. I totally forgot about Disaster Transport. Thats a good one. I don't think anyone knows the story on it. All it looks like is these random rooms from some spaceship before getting on a crappy ride. None of them really go together.
  5. So, I am guessing the Boss is still extremely rough?
  6. I'm going to go with Mr Freeze at SFStL. The warehouse building looks pretty decent from the outside, but when you get in there its just metal walls until the station. I guess they figured if they made it cool enough that would be all they need. EDIT: I mean that they make the temperature cold enough
  7. Trust me, unless you wanted to feel like you just went 12 rounds with Tyson, you didn't miss out on anything by not getting to ride the Timberwolf. I was there in May and rode it hoping they may have retracked it, and it has gotten worse. I had a headache the rest of the day. I agree with Derek, nice replacement for the Zinger. That sucks, I still don't know why they got rid of the Zinger when it was still pretty popular and a fun ride. The Boomerang is just too painful.
  8. The Simpsons ride would be cool, but I can see a Transformers ride maybe making more sense. You can do a lot with it, and they are filming the movie at Universal Hollywood.
  9. I think its smart to do the Simpsons ride now. There are 2 seasons left or the longest running show in the history of TV. Plus, the movie is coming out. I agree that it should be like Mr Toads but through springfield. That would be pretty cool.
  10. Mamba WOF opening year. No shade in queues and a three hour wait. Holy sunburn batman!
  11. Ok, who is the girl in the pigtails at Thorpe park? I am officially a fan boy. She is hot.
  12. I can't believe someone said Nitro at SFGAdv. That is probably the smoothest I have been on. I totally forgot about Dragon at Adventureland. They might as well rename it to POS death machine. I am surprised it is still standing as bad as it is.
  13. Yeah from everything I have heard lately, it won't be recognizable. Maybe I can talk the wife into going on an Indiana trip and we can hit IB and Holiday World.
  14. This is my least favorite inversion. Its the old orient express at WOF. Thank god they put it to rest. The batwing for arrow was just pain, pain, pain. Credit RCDB
  15. Its really strange to hear that IB is being rated by so many as a great park. The last time I was there was early 90's when all they had was the Galaaxy and Tigr'r coasters. They had just opened the waterpark the last time I was there. I never thought that it would get big enough to have to good woodies as it had a carnival feel to it when I was there. I am going to have to take a trip there now!
  16. I'd have to go with Double Splash Flume at Dutch Wonderland. Mainly because even the little hill at the beginning would get you pretty wet. It might be Splash Mountain at WDW, except for the fact they were building it when I went at 13, and last Septmeber it was freaking closed!! Dang you maintenance crew!!
  17. Dangit I ust type too slow... El Toro
  18. If you want to be abused during the ride, Dinosaur at DAK. I think my wife might of had a slight case of whiplash on that thing. Hand down though the best non coaster ride is Tower of Terror at WDW. Rode it 5 times in one day, and all 5 programs were different.
  19. I never thought i would see an Adventureland TR. Well done. I live in Omaha but haven't been there in years. I think the last time I was there the space shot opened. The underground is really a dissapointment though. There is a lift hill so you think you are going down at some point, but it seems like a dark train ride. The Outlaw is truly an underrated woodie though. They can blow up the dragon for all that I care, will never ride it again.
  20. UGH, they still have the same dang restraints on it. So what if the ride is a bit smoother, the restraints are what made it bad. DIE TOGO HELL DIE!!!
