Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL) Discussion Thread

LMAO!!!!! Good find! -
^^^I need to reword the questions... When where the upstop WHEELS installed on magnum? I know when the coaster itself was built, I was there as a graduation gift. Does anyone have pictures of Magnum with the upstop plates?!?! I have an undated photo, which i thought was from 1989, that shows wheels, not plates. (Yes, I found it. LOL)

This article fails to mention that it's also the world's most expensive beer, at 56 pounds a bottle. (too lazy to look up the british pound symbol.) Yahoo's a little late on this one, the news of this spread last month. -
Benadryl doesn't work for everyone. (including me.) I just use store brand hydrocortisone cream. The trick is to rub the cream until it is totally absorbed by the skin. (it's also an excuse to kinda scratch without using your nails. LOL)

Hand that toy back now!!

Nah, Europeans aren't as a letigious society as we Americans. Hence, the coasters/parks are much more interesting over there -
Are we talking the super loops/ring of fire? That's a powered coaster, per se.

I miss Vegas!!! (Former resident, lived on the west side in Spring Valley right off of Desert Inn Blvd.!) Though Circus Circus kinda sucks (My former employer) they do have the bests $1 and $5 slots, and THE BEST steak house in town.

"Signature" Coasters
DenDen replied to imbordisux's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I dunno Katie, you sell the T-bolt short a tad... -That would be P-I-P-P-I-N, as in the apple. (I know, I'm a smart-arse! hehehe) -In the front, there 3 pops of air, entering the lift, just before drop 4, and entering the trim... but in the back, you have it on drops 1, 3, 6 and 7. -The last drop is it's largest, at 90ft. I don't think there is another coaster in the world that does that on such a scale. (Jack Rabbit's last drop is also it's largest, but not as high.) -Ya can't beat those rickety Rolling Stock trains that are becoming so rare! Personally, I think BOTH T-bolt and JR are unique enough to be signature attractions, in any context. But then again, Kennywood itself is a MUST DO attraction. -
CLICK HERE to download my remix TOTALLY FREE! Free to play, share, and spin in public venues! Enjoy! I also submitted it to Beatie Boys as well. This should be funny.

Hint: If you must use deepwoods (after tonight, I won't be...) use the green spray pump, NOT the aerosol can or orange pump! The can only has 14% deet, where the green pump has 25%, and the recommended is 24%!

I have copies of all the accapellas, and the BMP calculations of each song, the music is originally scored by me on a computer.

Parks Coasters and Rides in Movies and TV

Golden Grahams commercial in the 70's had SFMM Colosus Step By Step has the same super-imposed on a beach. -
Not hearing anything "scratchy" per se, the bass line is an under-sampled synth that's slightly rough and , and a couple of "synthetic cymbals", but I can't think of anything else. BTW, I've never heard the original, and want to wait until after I complete this mix. Just something fun...

Actually, your cholestorol spikes wildly, and you really have to pay attention to it if you do the diet long-term. (ie. the Atkins for Life plan)

Tonight, I hung out at the coffee shop, and got my first mosquito bite when the sun started setting. I exclaim to my friends "Damn, here come the bugs, I gotta sit inside for an hour until they go away, I don't have my spray with me." (Mosquitoes love me, and they're a huge problem here in Florida!) One of my friends says "Wait, I got just the thing." He goes into the car, and gives me a Bounce dryer sheet and tells me to rub it on my skin. Skeeterz only bit me on my ankles and arms, so i rubbed the sheet on my skin, and low and behold, not one more bite the entire evening! It was amazing! Bounce dryer sheets are the best mosquito repellent EVER!

I don't care who you are, but everyone for one reason or another likes boogers, either in public (heck, you see it every day on the road...) or behind closed doors. Vote for your favorite reason! SPELLING ERROR: should be "Flicking them IS a skill".

ok, I'll jump on the bandwagon here... This was my former office that I don't miss, I built a 45 PC call center, and was layed off as soon as the hard work was done, and i was replaced by an alcoholic who didn't last 2 months. HAHAHAHAHA! When I clock in, everyone leaves! Gourmet sandwiches and salads to boot! We have the best deserts in town! I work in the fabulicously gay Stork's coffee house.
