  1. So, here's what I found out on the net AFTER this fiasco, and by doing things myself... 1)I shouldn't have waited for the PH Balance to take effect before adding the bromine. I should have just waited 15 minutes, and did the bromine procedure. 2)I need scumballs/scumbugs to absorb oil and other human excretion. 3)My PH was balanced, even before the water was clear, and adding the bromine 10 hours later. 4)Getting the oil ring off is not easy. I used a scrunge, but it got coated quickly. My questions are... When you start your tub, what procedures do you use? (Chems, filter, etc.) Should water circulator be on ALL the time? (There's no off-switch or timer on my control pannel that I see, it's an older tub.) Can I get rid of the "ring" without emtying the tub? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated!
  2. OK, first, the pics, and then, if anyone else has a hot tub, I need advice. I'm going by what I can find on the net, and it's not much help. First, the pictures... then the next post will be my questions for those that know... Nice clean water, but I got the Ring! After adding bromine granules for super oxidation, and bromine tablets in the floater, water cleared up in just a couple minutes. I used a Hot Tub Kit, which said to put in the "PH balance" and wait for water to clear. This is what I woke up to, yellow water, and hot tub oil scum. Tap water is so crummy... I'm filling up the tub last night.
  3. I know "Buster" is an enthusiast, but not sure if he was ever an ACE member.
  4. Last Time I was at GL, It was pre-6flags, when they offered the "carload special". Let's just say it was quite an experience, and I vowed never to return. Very trailer-park/ghetto. My nephew and sister went there when it was 6flags, and they were quite disappointed. CP would be better to just spread the rides at it's better parks and dump the property for condos.
  5. Where did this name "JoJo" come from!?!?!?!? AAAAAAAHHHHHHH! (Yes, I know, it's a reference to PowerPuff Girls". LOL)
  6. When I eat at Mickey-D's, I lose weight. I get the runs every time! So I could understand the concept.
  7. It's not big enough to hold that size of Post-Its. Was just showing the fanfolds, they come in multiple and custom sizes for promotional products.
  8. It doesn't hold post-it flags, it holds 3 tablets of fan-fold post-its. http://www.3m.com/us/office/postit/products/prod_notes_pu.jhtml You use it for multi-colors.
  9. I have to agree with Sam, that "charm" isn't experienced every day. I've been to KW 100's of times, but maybe experienced that charm 15-20 times. When you're with the perfect people, with perfect crowds, and perfect weather, the atmosphere is just unforgetable. Italian day is one of those days where the crowd is well behaved with many families out together to join in on the fun, and the fireworks from the Zambelli's wraps up the experience perfectly. Great trip report!
  10. that's it! Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. I'm looking for the "thumbs-up" Jesus avatar. Actually, if it came from a larger image, I'd love that! Doing a project for a reverend. Thanks! Dennis

  16. Ever have a transformer blow up? Now that's a rude awakening! Last Wednesday, arroximately 6 am, I was having my morning coffee in the front yard. When the explosion went off, ( in the opposing corner of my property) I dropped my coffee cup, but I didn't need the pick-me-up anymore. LOL It was the first time I ever witnessed a transformer exploding, I really thought someone set off a stick of dynamite. The flash was very bright, and it just shooked my heart right out of my chest.
  17. Yea, I had to laugh at that one, I experienced that one while trying to start up my church's DSL. Bell South does the same thing.
