GTA: San Andreas Now Rated 'Adults Only'!
DenDen replied to Meteornotes's topic in Random, Random, Random
Get the religious-right (oxymoron) out of office, and this won't be at issue. You think this GTA issue is bad, take a look at this... http://www.gamespot.com/news/2005/07/22/news_6129609.html They're now attacking the Sims. THE SIMS!!!!!!! This madness will not stop! And wait until they start dictating your private lives, masturbation will be a crime punishable by death. -
Hey, that's my sister, quit laughing. LOL

Yea, that font is misleading, but you can see it's 62.5. Anyway, doesn't everyone know Thorpe is under height-building restriction?
-
I was hesitant to watch this, cause i think the TV spots for this movie were over-played and annoying, but once I saw the guys, I was PMP! That is histerical!

Not into Rush, but that was one IMPRESSIVE anime! I've been a big fan of computer-animated shorts for years, this ranks tops!

We had 2 of them in Fort Lauderdale, but one was just shut down because it became a nuisance business where bikers hung out every Friday. 100's of bikers were always in the lot.

DUDE! Is that you? That would be an awesome digital sample for a song. -
I prefer Carl's. I miss them, and In-n-Out, and Jack, boy do I miss the sourdough Jack..... (drooling) South Florida just has the basics, Wendy's, BK, and McD's. We don't even have Long John's here (for obvious reasons), taco bell's and arby's are rare, and the KFC's are ghetto.

Corona Extra Miller Lite There is no #3, so I switch to wine.

Did TPR get hacked or something?
DenDen replied to Homer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Tell me about it! I used to be on the dev team for WebAPP, but I hacked mine so much, and didn't like the direction the script was going, I left. Upgrades were VERY time consuming. -

WOOPS! In addition: I just went to the PHPBB site, their script DOES generate the Session ID's in Firefox. Are you running an older version of the script? -

This script generates a "session ID" in the URL, which lets the script tell the difference between users while on-line simultaneously, and to have "new messages since last login" functionality. for example.... In MSIE, when you go into the forums, you get a url like this.... http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2&sid=ffce3e8d3ffa8bc5c79a81c5759c6b59 "SID=##############" is the session ID. You don't get this in firefox. All you get is.... http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=2 All this means is this PHP script is not using W3C standards, but it hurts those not using MSIE. (Not just Firefox, but Macs, Linux, etc.) You'd be suprised at how much MSIE has influenced the internet with proprietary web code. Most of the time, for better, but in this case, for the worse. Why use standards? Well, when AOL switches to Firefox next year, you're gonna have a huge spike in FireFox users. As a web master myself, I have gotten used to the "browser wars" way back when, and it makes my job suck, but it keeps me ahead of the game. -

LOLROTF! MY sister makes meatballs the same way. They're called "Trailer-park Sweet-n-sour meatballs". You use those frozed-bulk meatballs that taste like dog food, grape jelly, and BBQ sauce. Absolutely disgusting! But my mom loves them, go figure, she's old with no taste buds left. LOL -
What a job to be proud of! I'm jealous! Since I went into semi-retirement, all I do is brew fancy coffee, socialize, and make chai lates for wierd people. (I can ALWAYS pick who wants chai as soon as they walk in the door!) I have a feeling this is going to start a trend of photo reports of the most mundane things, and make them fun. I'd do a PWR (Photo work report), but I'm not sure it would be suitable for all viewers. LOL I'll think of something!

It's yum-yum fun, and it's cool and keen, and it's name is the snoopy snow cone machine you put the ice cubes in and get a snow cone out (it's fun) yum yum fun is what it's all about. -
I really don't think is SP2, I think it may be AOL. I did my anual "scortched earth" routing last month, and it's only been happening on this new install. Worked fine before hand. That's what I get for not leaving well-enough alone.

Just my opinion... I could see season pass holders, and multy-day ticket purchasers being forced to scan, (ie, these types of tickets are not tranferable and protects that right.) But just to pay once to get in? That's down-right tracking people in an uncomfortable way. There's no value to it, other than data-mining. If I'm just going to a theme park for one day, it's not their business who I am. I pay cash! I think that's the major issue this bored reporter is trying to make. I can see it 5 years from now... "Hackers break into Disney database, steals fingerprint info". or "Government seizes fingerprints". What can you possibly do with it? Well, if you ever had a job that required a fingerprint, or are federally bonded, (I apply in both cases,) Disney could match these, identify you, and sell the information, to lets say, your insurance company, which will now raise your rates for "risky" behavior. (Another reason I don't use store discount/reward cards, they sell your information/buying habits. They need not know I like Corona, Wine, and junk food A LOT more than the average shopper!!!) Eventually, all this technology will tie in to your every day life, which can be a bad thing. It's not paranoia, I just don't wanna participate, and shouldn't be forced to.

Hmm, almost makes me want to buy a mac. LOL

Aww, what sad news. I'm really sorry. Our "hammy" is also 2, so we're just waiting for the worst to happen.

Did TPR get hacked or something?
DenDen replied to Homer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I just noticed something wierd. Now that I'm using IE, there are session IDs in the urls. This doesn't happen in Firefox. Without a session ID, anyone on the board could do stupid things (such as mentioned above) via a signature or post. (in this case, little mini-hack that looks for non exsistant sessions. Mini-hacks are a huge problem in scripts that allow sigs and html, the dev group I used to belong to still has problems with it after a few years.) Just a thought. -
Due to the events of last nights "wierd" experiences here, I killed firefox. Only problem is, I went to firefox because my IE doesn't work. (I'm using AOHell right now, don't ask, it's an advertising tool! ) WindowsXP-SP2 When clicking links that open new windows, a new window opens, and just sits there. Does not matter if it's just a "_blank" command, or a Javascript call. Pop-up blocker is turned off. I have reinstalled SP2. (There's a 2 hour fiasco you should try!) Note that IE inside AOHell works fine. Any and all help appreciated

BINGO. Something is effecting FireFox/Mozilla browsers? I don't see the strange things in IE. -

I get those wierd ads too. I can't upload a screenshot, since that part of the reply form is missing.
