Well I'll be, a place for people with a speedo-fetish! Aren't Kennywood's bumper cars (Grand Prix) run in the same fashion? They used to be. Great trip report! Have fun guys! -
The one in Miami County Fair did. 2 seasons ago. No deaths, but lots of injuries.

Quick TR: Kennywood 6-16-2005

Nice and informative trip report. I'm disappointed to hear about the new Racer trains, sounds kind of wierd. I went last year, and probably wont be back until their next major attraction. Don't remember any "pothole" on the thunderbolt, and my nephew and I rode it a billion times, mostly in the back seat. I can't wait to see the new entrance in person, it was LONG over due. -
Might be a while before they answer you, they're on their European tour.

NOLimits Website gone!
DenDen replied to DenDen's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
nevermind, it's back, must have caught it when Ole was doing an update. Anyway, he's posting about No limits Fariground now. There's a demo. (No, it wasn't made by Ole, but it's kinda cute. Not worth $20 yet.) -
ROTFLMAO!!!!!!!! Where do you people find this stuff?!?!?!? Well, you know he was gay because... 1- for a fat guy, he could dance... 2- his arms FLAILED over the international gay-line. (ie. when you dance, if your arms go above shoulder height, GAY! hehehehe) 3- he flashed his man-boobies!

Whoops. Forgot about all the domains. Good Call! Thanks. Another trick, forwarding viewers from an offending web site RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} ^http://www.RCTDLOADS.COM/ RewriteRule /* http://www.cybercrime.gov/compcrime.html [R,L] This would forward viewers to the federal investigation cybercrime unit website. A little scare tactic that I use for offending websites, and for people trying to snoop around. (I won't even get into my 401 and 500 server error tricks. ) I also have an extensive block-list from known fraud ip's and domains if you want it.
-
they need to do that for all their sites, themeparkreview isn't the only one being hotlinked. If all your domains are on the same host account, you can do all the blocking from a single htaccess. RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://themeparkreview.com/ [NC] RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://www.themeparkreview.com/ [NC] RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://elissaalvey.com/ [NC] RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} !^http://www.elissaalvey.com/ [NC] RewriteRule [^/]+.(zip)$ - [F] Or, just block server access from anyone coming from those sites specifically, or refer them to a "the web site you came from STOLE our content" message, and force them to view theme park review's web pages.

Also, the domain is not register to rules of ICAAN, (it's bogus) here's the info... Registrant: Ron Smith 55555 Smith Rd. Sterlin, Michigan 55555 United States Registered through: GoDaddy.com (http://www.godaddy.com) Domain Name: RCTDLOADS.COM Created on: 22-Sep-03 Expires on: 22-Sep-05 Last Updated on: 11-Oct-04 Administrative Contact: Smith, Ron brbsta@rct2unlimited.com 55555 Smith Rd. Sterlin, Michigan 55555 United States 5555555555 Technical Contact: Smith, Ron brbsta@rct2unlimited.com 55555 Smith Rd. Sterlin, Michigan 55555 United States 5555555555 You can report this, and they will lose the domain. Since it was registered at godaddy, you can report it there, and the process will be faster.

All they are doing is hot-linking the files from their web site on R&E's sites. There is a way to block this guys, especially if you're on a 'nix server. Hit me up!

Even though most coaster logos are copy-righted, making your own is legal, ie. you're making your OWN shirts, for you only. The minute you give one to someone, you're breaking the law. It's part of the "fair use" laws, if you're in the U.S.

i just went there (as i do every other day to check for updates) and it's GONE!

I had this concept in my head since the Pipeline concept came out, but I did this crude graphic in 1998, the concept.... each 2 passenger car rolls independently on a center axis, such as the classic rollo-plane. this allows the car to be on top, or below the track, giving unique sensations to the riders as their seats roll to an upright position via gravity, or for rolling and rocking via G-forces and elements. Has this ever been done, i thought this was the logical step after arrow started touting the failed Pipeline. car concept side view

Because he didn't do anything. It was a total fabrication, and the jury believed that. There's no difference between Mike sleeping with kids in his TWO STORY bedroom, and a scoutmaster sleeping in a tent with his scouts. Don't see anyone complaining about that, do we?

OleMainThreadWndName email crash!!!! help!
DenDen replied to buttonman700's topic in Random, Random, Random
Norton is the problem. Crashgaurd is a peace of crap. I trust nothing with the Norton Name on it. They're just one of those companies that cause problems to stay in business. -
See, we just came from Caraba's. You can't smell the garlic. I use eclipse. WOOOOOOOOHHHHH! (Yes, i know, repetitive joke, see http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=17001 )

You can always use a mini-sport-cam. The actual camera stays in your pocket, all you have to do is hold the little lense, attatch it to your clothing, or buy one attatched to glasses or hat. I've seen 2 of these in retailers, and there's lots of them on the internet. There are even mini-cam kits to use with exsisting digital camcorders. (Must have a mini-A/V input) Why risk killing your cammera, injuring others, or getting kicked out of a park for breaking rules, when you can just hold the lense?

DenDen replied to Twister II's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
On a technical aspect, lot's of skipped frames in the video. Next time, try to capture in a smaller size. (480x360, 320x240) -
Kiss me! I use Eclipse.

DenDen replied to TwistedTrack's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I say kennywood. It's not the biggest, but in my opinion, it's the best in PA. -
