What was your first B&M Coaster?
jarmor replied to thrillseeker4552's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Does Z force count? I mean, they were part of the team then right? -
I was fortunate enough to have been extended and invite to preview night. I, living in south carolina, was never really afforded this luxury so this was a first for me. Went thru 6 1/2 house (fire drilled) and all were well themes, well house of horrors was...I'll wait for tonight to give my opinion. The streets...ash the streets. I thought with no distinct zones it was lack luster. You're roaming as well as the hordes. Its like you are walking next to and passing by them. Someone with a cap load of experience in the horror nights world said something that really made sense, not everyone can experience all the house but everyone can go thru scarezones. Some people love the scarezones and this year that was taken away from them with the same teeming placed around the park.

Ok Ok...I was confused when you mention KD and took it as if there is a problem with their woodies. I personally like to stay away from woodies unless they are gcii, but thats just me -

It says something, to me, if I have to ride in a "special" seat to get an enjoyable ride...but, thats just me. I dont think common sense has anything to do with that... -

But...those competing parks are currently adding more and more offerings. It would be an insult, I feel, if legoland DID raise their prices. Not to sound harsh but I think it would be welcoming if they actually lowered their prices. -
Carowinds Discussion Thread
jarmor replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
In my opinion, carowinds needs to add more slides to its water park. Forget a new coaster they have plenty already. What they dont have are slides and flat rides. The last time slides were added was pipeline peak and the last flats were in nick central...not including windseeker. -

PA park coaster tour help
jarmor replied to jarmor's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Thanks for the info guys. While Hershey park was my main draw, it seems that my best options are Dorney park and Knobels. Who knows, maybe they'll have flying turns up and running by next week ! Again...thanks! Oh, any more suggestions, comments...whatever is still welcomed!! -
Ok here's the deal... Im driving up from South Carolina to New York for a wedding. So I figured, why not make it a coaster tour so to speak. So far my plan of action is to drive up monday, July 2nd and spend the afternoon at Busch Gardens Williamsburg until they close. Now here's where it gets difficult. Three parks that want to go to are Dorney park, Hershey park and Knobels. The problem is, and where I need you guys suggestions, is Im only doing the parks that tuesday, july 3rd, and would comfortably have time for 2 parks. My initial plan was to drive and stay at a hotel in hershey and go to Hershey park tuesday morning and toss up between Dorney park and Knobels but I have had a relative tell me I can stay over at their place, which is 2 hours from Hershey park and 40 minutes from Knobels. Here's where I need you guys help. I have never been to any of these parks and I have no idea how things run as far as crowds, traffic and things of that nature. I also have to keep in mind its a holiday week. So please, suggest an action plan I should look into. Which 2 parks should I do? Are their any discounts for the gate (which is also a factor since I have no annual pass for them)? Which rides are not to be missed? Please share all info and suggestions. I will greatly appreciate it...
