I have seen the show...on both coast this year...I, personally, dont feel anything stepped over the line. If we dont find a way to laugh at what we deem as problems we are all gonna explode! But how can you say they stepped over the line but you have never seen the show? Superman gets splashed with fairy dust and **BAM** becomes jack from "will & grace"! Does anyone find jack's character on that show to be the producers being homophobic? As a black man should I be offended at the "black people cant swim" or when they insuaited the black dude was gonna die first? Nope! I thought it was hilarious! But then again, I never go to a rock concert and get offended when they actually play rock music...

Kings Island (KI) Discussion Thread

Also, considering this coaster probably wont open until 6 months from now...this is fast. I wouldn't frown at building such a huge coaster in say 3 months. It could have taken as long as the 7 dwarves coaster... -
Ok...I had a few days to think about this. Why do people say silver bullet is this extremely forceless machine? I went into it thinking it was gonna be a borefedt, almost didn't ride it at all but it was a ry good ride! I got some air on the first drop, the vertical loop and wl all the inversion were forceful, to me. And that helix made my legs tingle...so with that said, where's does all the hate on the interweb come from?

What Was The Last Coaster You Rode?
jarmor replied to SharkTums's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Revenge of the mummy orlando...and less than 24 hours before that, revenge of the mummy in hollywood! Yes...I manage to ride both coasters back to back...within a 24 hour period! -

Per your advise, i booked the hilton. Now im poor hahaha. Ok guys...I have a question about the Knott's haunt meal and early entry? Have any of you guys done this, this year? What does the meal consist of? How much early of an entry do you get? -
Hands down "American Werewolf in London"! are you doing the stay and scream? Regardless I would do cabin first...if you have time do werewolf right after...RUN to kids zone and do walking dead followed by llorna. It will put you out by afterlife...hit that up. Head to havoc then do the remaining soundstage houses. I would do evil dead then resident evil.

Advice! Sea World Orlando vs. BGT
jarmor replied to LDedios432's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
While both parks have animals BGT is more less a glorified zoo with roller coasters, where as sea world animals are the entertainment. I was apprehensive to visit sea world all the years I have been traveling to Orlando (since 2001 as an adult alone) and I finally went to sea world last year. I would say sea world because while seeing the animals at bgt...I think the experience would be better at sea world. Also aquatica is right next door! I would suggest doing Aquatica first thing in the morning...then heading over to sea world...if time permits! -

Carowinds Discussion Thread

Actually...I launcher is the last thing the "description" gives way to. Quick story...back in june a guy from the chamber of commerce went to the city council begging for money for cedar fair. His thing was cedar fair was trying to chose between csrowinds and kings dominion as which park would get the 50 million investment. When describing the coaster he used all the current gigs coasters, world wide, ss an example of the style...however, he used gatekeeper to describe the front entrance. I personally think he wanted to show the shiny new coaster and entrance to entice the NC city council. It looks like carowinds won the investment over kings dominion though since they have announced the slides addition and semi the food court. From my understanding the city council approved but they were more so worried about "what's in it for me" and how this would benefit nc over sc (where most of the additions are going and where most of the hotels that will probably housed these. 400k plus in attendance are located). One council woman even exclaim if a 300 ft coaster was safe to operate. She was quickly reminder that this will not be a record height and several are well over 400ft. So my prediction...300+ft intamin with their winged cars...like on the u-shaped coaster... -

Have you ever been to Carowinds and ridden their God-awful offerings? Are you serious? That's a bit of a stretch I would say. Afterburn is ranked pretty high among enthusiast and intimidator isn't that bad either. I would hate to know what you think of parks like California's great America, dorney park or virtually any other park! -

Dude...you're gonna have that eye out for a long time...this isn't slated until like 2015/16 -
I dunno...it seemed as if SOB was a lost cause and only lasted 8 seasons. Gwazi is still sorta going and has never had to have a major section removed or an entire season of down time. I think Busch just doesnt want to invest more money to get the coaster back to its prime and look at it being more feasible to tear it down. It seemed KI tried all it can to save it...even leaving it SBNO for several years. I had a change to ride gwazi back in april. I didnt think it was that bad neither did my 9 year old god son but he likes jumping out of trees haha. I personally think gwazi can be saved with a little love from RMC. Are they any recorded major injuries on gwazi?

Cause it was always down??? Hahahaha... but honestly...I feel a ride like I305 would make the coaster line up that much better at carowinds. Intimidator already has the hill aspect so the next one should have the low ground hugging speed aspect.
