Ok I. Back and I bring with me renewed faith in B&M! While its not top burn forceful it does pack a punch! I was able to get two rides in...front and back...before it got crowded! Not much of a line...for now For some reason the back seat has a very noticeable rattle that I hope gets lessen in the future. How about some pictures to enjoy... R.I.P Moved on over to top bat! My first arrow suspended! For some reason, I thought it had two lifts... I liked it...it was a tad bit rough but nothing un bearable... Weeeeeeee... Can't wait to ride another arrow suspended! So long bat...time to take a little detour...

As far as i know this is all B&M? No other company will be used for the LIM's. Thunderbird will be their first launch coaster produced entirely by themselves. That's what I thought as well until I read this... -

Wait...is this incredible hulk 2.0? So B&M has not, yet still, fabricated their own launch system? -

Thanks guys...I really had a great time. I've never been to such a quaint park with soooo much to do. The layout seemed kinda awkward ar first but it really flows. It looks like the water park and dry park mesh but its seamless in its seperation. I wish I had to see it during its hey day...I did manage to find an old relic from the past... Stay tuned...for tomorrow is a new day (and a new park!

Lightning run...WOW! OMFin'G wow! 10 times I experienced what one would call ejector air...I really liked it...I actually got off and got right back in line to make sure I wasn't tripping! Hands down its the best was possible to say "we're back"! It just look sooo tiny...but don't let that fool ya... I'm completely blown away...I know I know...I've read the reviews but I just didn't believe it but I am def a believer now! Thais it for me today! Overall I really liked the park. With only two coaster right now I wouldn't say its a great value...but...the water park makes up for it! Wish six flags didn't take chang from the park...

Ok...I've pretty much done all I can in the water park...guess I'll go take some photos from the slide towers... Why don't more parks have these!!! The park has its work cut out with twisted twins.... If it turns out as good as thunder run then hats off to whoever is responsible! Speaking of thunder run...it runs pretty dang good! Reminds me of hurler but with more twist! Now...why on earth do people do this? If I were the park, I would find them and charge them with vandalism! Anyway...I'm off to the front of the park to finally experience lightning run!

Yeaaaayyyy...made it in the park... First impression...nice little family park! Surprisingly its very empty and I like that! I took yu guys advise and went directly to the water park...I felt like I was the only one here! First things first...the stupidly tall,121 ft, trap floor drop slide. The only one I have done is vanish point at water country, and that drop pales in comparison to this one...but I but on my big boy britches and did it! I actually liked it better than vanish point! Since its still empty I went ahead and did new slide tower with the mini tornado, the bowl and the constrictor?? Slides. The time has come to do deluge. I heard nothing but good things about this ride and man, was it a total blast! Since I'm here alone, it was lucky enough to get a group to allow me to join in. This thing has more airtime than some coasters! Yep...still dead... I didn't bother with the tornado...the riders were few and far in between and I didn't wanna really bug someone to let me tag along... Well, I'm about to go marathon on the old tube slides...pretty much a walk on for all 4 of them! Any photo request let me know...

I was just thinking...I'm always going to parks but very rarely documenting my exploits. Once upon a time I use to rush home to post trip reports but over time...that kinda went away. Now I'm back! Ok enough of that...on to the first park, kentucky kingdom. I really wanted to get to this park in its six flags hay-day. But, unfortunetly, that didn't happen. Needless to say I was excited to see it return.I'm here a little early so I decided to do some snooping around the park perimeter... I wonder when this one is gonna be ready... I'm surprised how accessible the park is to the surrounding area! I guess I'm use to go to secluded parks off the interstate... Yeah...its gonna take some TLC to get it back in shape... I would have loved to see chang still standing here...this is where it was right? Well...be back later once the park opens...in the mean time I'll get this nice employee to take a shot for me (its kinda over casty out here)

No, there is no way you can hit all coasters and flat rides w/o fast lane. Buy one. Best money you'll ever spend. Are you staying at on-site resort? not staying on-site...staying off-site the night before so I can be to the park as early as needed. Thanks...kindly noted! ^^While FastLane is definitely the way to go, it doesn't sound like he has that option. In case he doesn't get one, here is a decent plan of attack... Wednesday might possibly be the best day to visit the park in the summer, but I would imagine that it still be pretty crowded unless the weather is iffy. Even if it is a sunny day however, I would imagine that you should have enough time to get the major attractions in one day, but you might have to sacrifice some of the flats, shows and other attractions. Without a FastLane, I would recommend driving to the back of the park (especially if you have early entry or a Platinum Pass) in the morning and parking in the Soak City parking lot. From there, you can hit up either Maverick or MF first and then maybe zoom around and jump in line for TTD before the line gets really long. Of course, your game plan depends on the time of day you get there. If you show up at noon or later, then you most likely won't get any advantage parking in the back lot and might just as well just park in the main lot and start at the front and work your way around. Lines will most likely be long for all of the major coasters by then. If you show up before the park opens and decide to park in the main lot, skip all the rides/crowds at the front of the park and head for the back. MF, Maverick and TTD (inevitable) will most likely already have fairly long lines due to early entry, but you should be able to get short waits on Skyhawk, Corkscrew, Iron Dragon, Mantis, Power Tower & Mean Streak after 10:00. Have fun! Thanks...I dont have a plat. pass so early entry isn't an option. Is the entrance by soak city for regular guest as well? I was looking at the parks website, am I correct and seeing that the number of fast lanes does not make the price go down like at other parks? Thank you guys for all the help! -

Ok guys...I have a question. I will be going to kentucky kingdom on monday! My problem is im gonna be alone and really want to do the water park, since im sorta a water park fanatic. Is it hard finding people to team up with on slides like deluge and the family raft/tornado slides? Also, from what I have read here, its better to do the water park at opening correct? -

Its not hate...more like a "dude...c'mon!" attitude. I can easily say he is "hating" on holiday world, beemers, vertical loops, immelmans...but I have more than one brain cell and realizes disagreement doesnt constitute "hate/haters"... -

Sigh...how many coasters at holiday world have vertical loops...how many have an immelman? They also have roller coasters with hills...how dare they being that roller coasters have been featuring hills since the beginning! I wonder how many people that attend the park often have ever been on a looping coaster? Stop looking at it thru your narrow eyes and look at the big picture. Lots of people don't travel from state to state riding roller coasters like many of us. I love the fact that almost every six flags park has a Batman clone...I want the locals to experience such A great ride. I personally think that if anyone can find something "wrong" with this isn't looking st the bigger picture...a non chain, grassroots small park is going above and beyond and providing a thrilling world class fist of its kind roller coaster...and still offers free drinks, free parking AND free tanning lotion!...not to mention a FREE world class water park! I find it hilarious they they are doing EVERYTHING people said they would never do hahahaha... "they will never go over 240feet" "they will never do a launched coaster" This is only the B&M-ginning...I hope to see more new stuff from them in the future... -

For the caliber and size of park holiday world is, I think this is a big deal. Was it over hyped...nope not at all. The park told the story, the theme of the coaster over a 66 day span. If anyone feels it was over hyped its by fault of their own. I don't recall the park saying the coaster is gonna be the coaster to end all coasters. Come to think of it...they never even said it was a coaster...just one.big.thing. I will be taking the trip to the park next year...thank you immensely holiday world. -

What's wrong with verbolten? I think its a great, fun family coaster. I mean, there is no show building built for any see saw or drop track but still...
