For everyone questioning the riders height. This is just my guess but technically if I sit down on a roller coaster I would have been the same height as the man in the seat. the only difference is I still have my legs. Im guessing the height restrictions are making sure the body itself is able to be restrained by the restraints. So...probably when designers are designing they go from the min height from torso to shoulders and calculate the typical height for someone with that size torso to shoulders??

I personally dont think this will effect the ride. Several articles have mention there were no mechnical failures and everything was working as it should. They cant ignore this is a very isolate issue with the guy virtually having nothing to secure him against the forces of that ride.

No one comes to orlando to go to the fair...without live stock and things of that nature its just another theme park to me...

Most arrows, as seen on the picture of steel phantoms revenge had straight drops too...well aside for most of twisting dropping mega loopers. I actually think those straight drops are amazing especially in the back!

It was! It was like a live rendition of the movie but more up close and personal. From running thru the forrest to watching him change in the asylum to the wolf, to having the wolf leap back and forward over you in a valley to having the wolf lunge towards you only to be shot and fly back into the darkness...

I would love to see another house this year! I think the event has grown enough to expand on the idea of a 9th house. I just wish they would build more domes for the house vs the ques of jaws and diaster!. I just think the light really ruins those house. I mean even though the tent house fall victim to it I think with the right planning they could build more tents that would not have light as a major factor! I think im gonna wait to get tickets later on to see what other options they come up with since that survey had lots of options like peak nights only passes and things like that...

...for now. But the lift is kinda like tenn tornado being it goes up an inclined hill and the supports aren't that tall...

Because track records of reliability have to start some where. A lot of these small coaster designers are starting to get more work now because, in my opinion, what they are offering could be cheaper than what the big names are offering and parks are willing to give them a chance...

That's what I was thinking. It seems the common thing people are saying is "holiday world is a family park" I dont know if I would consider The Voyage a family coaster so to speak. Also, there are some real thrill seeking families out there that like to visit the parks!

I think a park with a variety of wooden coasters would not benefit from adding a steel version of a wooden coaster. The voyage, in my opinion, is virtually a hyper coaster. If they go steel it should have an emphasis on inversions. They are soo many options out here but I think the new mack launcher would be a good fit! I just don't think anything launched from intamin would be a Good choice for their first steel coaster. Sorry intamin, however...a traditional lift intamin like Fahrenheit could work...

When it says, "All of which will produce the most," it sounds like airtime not inversions to me (and airtime is what I'm hoping for ). I dunno...its 10 places for letters/space/characters. After playing the word game I place my money on "inversions" Since that is enough characters to fill the blacked out section. Airtime, air time, nor air-time would work because it would be an extra space somewhere in there... But anything is possible!
