  1. So, as stated before, you go from a 60+ wait time to around 15-20 min wait? And people would consider that a shame? even with it costing 10-20 dollars? What more could someone want? The entire park themselves with no wait???
  2. Its a running joke since its not 300 feet tall. Its like 286 but with a 300 foot drop Not a Giga . . .
  3. I wonder if they can reverse the flow of the maze and have it enter behind the mummy by the stairway of the stars? That way, it can still exit out right there and the path to the backlot mazes could support going and coming traffic.
  4. I went to HHN a couple weeks ago and only two houses stood out to me, US and Creepshow. While I skipped Klowns, Wolf vs frank and TWD I feel that all the rest were just choked full of black walls with string hanging down. I mean, you get more from a local haunt. Thinking about it, holidays was kinda good. With that being said, the scares are far more intense in Hollywood. I do want to bring this up, the layout of mazes at Hollywood sucks. Like you have to walk all the way around from the far out houses just to get to klowns when it's literally right there. I did get a chance to check out Jurassic World. I really liked it! The inclusion of more dinos in the building and making it a habitat vs the industrial setting really improved the ride. Do I want it in Orlando, nope but I really enjoyed it in Hollywood.
  5. Thanks, so pretty basic theming. The water park looks extensive . . .
  6. I'm more concern with how it looks on the inside. It hasn't been too many pictures floating around. Am I missing them?
  7. *IF* that was the case, it's worth noting anything can be held up, even more so now with all the tariff nonsense. Got to pay all the taxes/fees/tariffs before the item can be released. To me, it's impressive the place is even at the stage it is at now with all the litigation and financial trouble it has gone through. Actually, Customs does not get payment at time of entry for items entering the US. Generally, a company employs a Customs Broker who handles customs clearance. There is generally 10 days once items clears customs to solidify all duties, taxes and fees and on the 11th day payment is to be remitted to customs or fees can be imposed. Once goods are "cleared" meaning no PGA or any customs holds are on the items, goods can be picked up. The new tariff crap only changes how much you are paying for items to enter, not holding up items as they are not requiring any additional steps as far as clearance. The worst that can happen is a customer disputes their bill or go through the process of trying to exempt their items for additional duties. But still, they would have already have their products.
  8. Haha well yeah, that's a given. In fact the reason I was curious was in case I wanted to let someone else in my group use my express pass for rides I don't care about while I have use my ID elsewhere for ........ those reasons. So . . . you're trying to get over on the park.
  9. Wait, what's the story with this? I mean, generally only things get caught up in customs, when dealing with international freight, are things that are regulated like USDA and FDA items. Generally finished steel items have no issue being customs cleared.
  10. I think, with a majority of Americans not having traditional M-F schedules anymore, being closed on a Sunday isn't that big of a deal as it would have been 20-30 years ago. I mean it works for chic-fil-a lol.
  11. I guess it depends on how many days you plan on attending the park. I know, right now, I'm over-saturated with park passes and it's become hard to utilize them all and still "adult". I haven't been to SF or any busch park at all this year, let alone only used my CF plat pass a few times at carowinds (which is an hour away). I guess it balls down to being able to really plan to get your moneys worth.
  12. While I have never seen this movie I think it's good to keep indoor shows/attractions for all to enjoy. Minus Fast and Furious . . . lol
  13. Universal Orlando and Hollywood does it. Knott's does it. Busch gardens Tampa does it. Six flags parks charges to go in the houses separate from park admission.
  14. I say Knotts. You would do yourself a disservice by only doing Disney for one day. Also, MM is kinda out there and not honestly not that appealing (unless you're a coaster whore). Knott's has the charm of Disney and the thrill rides of MM.
  15. I think more people need to complain about it being only 5 house. As you said, if people still keep coming they will feel nothing is wrong.
  16. The newest coaster in my count. . .
  17. From my understanding, open until the clock strikes 1 or 2.
  18. People have said even though the App states that, they were still letting people in the queue. It's a gamble and a risk I say.
  19. I could see them (or translated to me wanting) getting a spinning coaster like the mr. six spinning coasters. They really only have 2 family coasters so that would add some variety in their lineup. But chances are their next coaster will be a free spin.
  20. Maybe i'm old fashion but I think you should want your new attraction of the year open for your peak season. With other parks opening attractions I would personally go to the park with something new to do if I only have one time a year to go to a park. I know, we as enthusiast try to cut parks slack but to open your new for 2019 attraction when there is only like 50 days left in 2019 is kinda bad to me.
  21. Or, they could have already finalized the coaster plans and looking towards more future additions. New attractions can take like 2-3 years to develop.
  22. So, a park that has 14 coasters (2 of which are along the tallest in the world), plenty of acres to use outside the parks footprint and inside of it, a world class water park that is adding a custom mat racer (without removing anything) and still has acres inside the water park footprint to expand needs to buy more property? Have you ever been to Carowinds? Have you seen parks like indiana beach? As long as there is a place to plop a station, no park is running out of room.
  23. Wait and show up. You have express for both nights right? The houses I saw that had the longest waits (over the last 3 nights) were ghostbusters and Stranger Things. I would say you can wait until 8 to come in and still do all the houses with express pass. I had express and did all the houses before 11 each night and that wasn't even marathon-ing them.
  24. I still don't understand why anyone thought they would get a new coaster when Cyclone still has the "new coaster smell" on it. The park never alluded to it, there was no big teaser campaign.
