The park gets crowded some days due to company picnics and such, but the rides never have a line. Back seat Skyliner gets major ejector air going down 1st drop!!! Rest of the ride not so much. That wanna be monster ride is friggin awesome if you like spin and puke. It really gets going and doesn't stop, kinda like a tilt a whirl on acid!!! I try to get there at least once a year as it's only an hour up the road from me.

I must say that the video, where the Spinball POV was done, was udderly amusing!! LMAO Agreed, 100% coaster porn............

I can remember riding the Haunted River right up until the year or maybe 2 before Volcano came about. Mt. Kilimanjaro had no reason to disappear as it was no hinderance to either Volcano or Flight of Fear. Also, I don't believe the path of Volcano would've hurt Time Shaft either as it seems to follow where the flume dropped out of the mountain.

OK, here goes

KD was really fun back then. The Lost World was an imposing site to a youngster when it first was built. I would really like them to have left that alone and found some other way to incorporate Volcano into the lineup. They had to get rid of 4 good rides for 1?? Now it just seems like an "action" park, not much to really leave a lasting impression as far as I am concerned. It really lost a lot of its character when Paramount got in and started commercializing everything.

That is too funny!!! My wife still gives me hell 4 years after 1 of our trips to Hershey and the infamous Red Carpet Inn!! The bathroom window didn't lock, the bedspread had a large hole in it, the bathroom ceiling tiles had paper towels stuffed in the cracks, and the one wall was busted. But in my defense it was only like 29 bucks for the night!!!

The Bebes is the Giant Dipper at Belmont Park in San Diego, LMAO, I am guessing twice and out of turn. I need less Mountain Dew and some sleep!!!

Just got back from a day trip over there Sunday 06/07/09 and the first 2 -3 hours the park was empty. Only line was PR which was 1 train wait!!! Got to experience my first ever "Screamin Swing". Boy was I surprised. It was an amazing yet quite scary ride. I was a little taken the first time when it took you backwards at full height and you kinda hang over the restraint for a second or two. Even when the park crowded up later in the day it was still a walk on. PR only kept 1 train ops and was up to almost an hour by 4 pm.

Well Richmond has a much bigger demographic area than middle east PA, and Pocono being a little farther North than the NASCAR community usually goes, I was just banking on there being more "locals" interested in the track than the park. Anyway, anyone going to be at HP Sunday...

Same as all the containers we get our stuff from China in. Did you happen to notice any of the state issued id tags on the door of the truck?

You know,what with the fact that parks are now requesting the customer info be kept secret on the labels of the track itself perhaps now they're trying to conceal the shipment itself so as to keep us from following,or spotting the rigs on the highway hauling the goods & following them to their final destination? You can't conceal anything from the DOT. So if the goods are coming from the plant in Ohio, then the trucks have to have some kind of identifiable sticker that would more than likely also include PA, WVa, MD, and VA. They are not going to hire out drivers from some other state, they would use a local driver to haul the container so therefore he should have an Ohio plate on the front end of his rig. All you have to do is see one coming into or out of the parking lot and take a look at the front end. If they are not from Ohio then chances are it is not B & M.

As far as the containers go, no help there, but like I said if you want answers as to where they come from, someone needs to get a pic of the actual rig. They are loaded with DOT info as to their origins, plus they have the little thing on the front and back called a plate which should more than likely belong to a carrier from the state in which the containers are being shipped from. Or even better yet Clint could use his power to try and talk nicely to one of the drivers and see where he is picking up the containers from LOL.

Has anyone thought to look at the DOT inspection stickers on the trucks or the license plates of the rigs to see where they are coming from?? Perhaps that would give some idea.......

I don't plan on motels, I was just concerned with the crowd at the park on Sunday. It is only 3 hrs to get there and I would hope the large crowd at Pocono would greatly diminish anyone being at the park.
