You might want to bank some of those turns, especially on the bottoms of drops. -

Yes it does. You do not need to create a new thread every time you post some new pictures. Post a reply, and attach them there. -
Flat Ride Design (with video)
A.J. replied to nannerdw's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Looks great. I'd need a Mac Pro to render that. My Macbook Pro is barely powerful enough to make a simple animation. -
It could possibly be Safari. If I remember correctly, I was able to download attachments as normal...maybe...a year or so ago? I couldn't be bothered downloading Chrome or Firefox so I don't know.

Okay, so that Leviathan-inspired NL coaster is the first time we've had an actual file attachment in a while. I attempted to download it, and there's a bit of a problem. On Mac OS X 10.7 (not sure about Windows, I haven't tried it yet), simply left-clicking a download link opens up a pop-up with nothing but text. Right-clicking the link and selecting "Save as", the browse window appears and the file appears to have a .txt extension. Removing the .txt extension actually downloads the file in its native format (in this case .nltrack), but a dialog box appears confirming the file has a .txt extension. I posted this here as opposed to Ask Alvey because we share more files other than images than the other forums. Any idea as to what's going on?

I'll most likely be purchasing a standard iPhone 4 now that the price has gone down. I don't need or particularly want the voice control or the upgraded camera. All I want is an iPhone that can run iCloud well, and the 4 is it.

The "Preview" Thread

That's because they all take a long time to finish. I don't have a lot of time in my schedule to dedicate completely to NoLimits and CAD projects anymore. -

That's fine, but please do not create new topics for each one - you can put more than one picture in a single reply. -

Uhh...are these yours? The Power Tower and Millennium Force models don't look like they're in the same room as the Raptor model... -
Knoebels Discussion Thread

The one time I tried to pull doubles every lap (two years ago), I leaned forward and out to grab the first one from the dispenser and then immediately leaned backward and out in an attempt to grab the second one. That way I didn't have to twiddle my fingers around. It worked twice during that ride. -
Really? Temporary? Doesn't seem like it was supposed to be temporary - you made such a big deal out of it. This thread is bordering on "bad quality". Step up your presentation (and your grammar...), or I will be forced to lock the thread. You need to seriously take some time and think, "would I be proud of how this park looked if I actually owned it?". EDIT: Don't reply to the thread saying, "I'm sorry" or "I will". Just take care of it. Please.

Hey all, Lately we've been getting a lot of duplicate threads. Most significantly, we now have had two duplicate RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D threads (one was deleted, one was merged) and one "favorite coaster game" duplicate (locked). If you are going to start a topic, stop and think - "has this been posted before?". There's a handy-dandy SEARCH function that lets you answer that question. I don't need groveling apologies, I don't want excuses, just USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION. By the way, this logic -could- be applied to the other four forums as well! ~A. "you know who you are" J.

Water Coaster VS Log Flume

I personally consider any water ride with three sets of wheels (running, side-stop, up-stop) to be a water coaster. -

Yeah, the second time I rode it was at least four or five laps before they even put out the dispenser, and I missed two in a row about halfway through my ride. The first time I rode I often picked the ring out of the dispenser easily but it would slip out of my hand and fall to the carousel floor! -

At its peak (2:00 or so), probably about two hours. I got in at 3:30 and waited an hour and a half. -

Yeah, I got in the queue around 3:30 or so. I sat down on the gravel a lot and made gravel towers, because I was bored. -

This ginger kid was also at Phunfest! The day started off slow - my buddies and I arrived around 11:00 or so, we bought our hand stamp combo (this weird guy at one of the counters like, really feels your hand before he puts the stamp on - cree-pee). I really wanted to check out Black Diamond as I hadn't seen it for a while. I ran into Ccron10 from Keystone Thrills and his buddies, he's a very nice guy. He recognized me pretty easily (I WONDER WHY...). I hung out at Black Diamond in hopes that it would open at noon. It didn't, and I decided that I would wait until 12:15 as my own friends ditched me to go ride Phoenix while I waited pathetically for the attraction to open. It didn't, so I left and joined my friends at Phoenix, boarding the train after about a ten-minute wait. Such a fantastic roller coaster... We then turned our attention to Twister, which was a walk-on. Twister seems to have gotten rougher over the years, I wonder what they can do about it. Twister seemed like it was a walk-on all day, which I wasn't surprised about. The name of the event is PHOENIX Phall Phunfest, after all. We continued to explore the park, riding all the Knoebels "bucket list" attractions. I skipped out on the Skooters because I was separated from the other two in my group (they got boarded and I didn't), and the Haunted Mansion because I hate that blasted truck horn. Black Diamond finally opened to the public at around 2:00. The queue was horrendous - Hastily-made infographic. Blue is the building, pink is the queue. We went back and forth - getting in, getting out, getting in again. It wasn't still we were separated (two go one way, I go the other way) that I decided to get in the queue. I just needed some time to vegetate, and what better place than a queue line. After ninety minutes or so, I got on the ride after this rude lady complained how the ride wasn't for handstamps and that she wasn't told, yet it was printed on the handstamp board along with Haunted Mansion and Skyride as "not included". She got to ride anyway. I saw her later in the day and she said the ride was too "baby"ish. I liked it. I like how the ride is gravity-driven, and in some sections you're going faster and faster until you brake suddenly. While the ride isn't as good as the Haunted Mansion, I liked the effects better, and there was no truck horn. Was it worth the wait to ride the attraction on opening day? Yes. Would I wait that long any other day? [censored] no. I got four more Phoenix rides in before five. Then, my buddies and I got together again to eat supper, and this time the three of us all went wherever we wanted to go. I saw Ccron again while riding the Carousel. After riding the carousel (nine rings, smashing my personal best of eight - I know, I suck), I went straight back to you-know-what. Phoenix. I marathoned Phoenix from about 6:30 until 10. I got fifteen more rides in before 10:00, smashing another personal best of "how many times can you ride a roller coaster in one day", with a total of twenty. The crew was fantastic, having a whole ten to fifteen seconds of wait between "all clear" and "dispatch". They were just that good. The lines were moving quickly. I swear those guys groaned every time they saw me get in that train after about the 10th time. I just love Phoenix so much! Front-row seat in the orange train is my favorite!
