  1. Of the ten times that I have been on voyage, the MCB has never been turned on.
  2. Definatly GA cyclone. That thing is an airtime machine. Plus, it really isn't that rough. Also I would have to say Cyclops at Mt. Olympus. Best airtime ever. Period. As for steel, I would have to say Mind Bender at SFOG
  3. God I love Holiday World. I CAN NOT wiat to get back there this summer and ride the best coaster in the world. And the best wooden coaster trio of any park in the world.
  4. I have to agree with Legend.
  5. Cedar Point for me. Out of their 16 roller coasters, the only two that really excite me are Millennium Force and Magnum. The rest of their coasters seem pretty lame to me.
  6. I bought two pieces of pizza at school for a buck a piece.
  7. Ya this has been around sice '05, details were just released. I remember being so excited when they first announced it, but I completely forgot about it until now. That does look pretty fun, although it is going to be a Vekoma land. I just hope it will look and feel better than Wild adventures. Georgia needs a second park thats not in the middle of nowhere and is not a dump. If they keep it kept up, this new one could be that second park.
  8. I love how SOB is considerd one of the older style wooden coasters.
  9. this is tank's version of a theme park wet dream
  10. Aww man I cant wait to get there! You got me all excited about the Q Bot, but then I saw that you must be 18. Why is that? The Prices are so cheap, I MUST get one.
  11. Every time I see pictures of that park, I die a little bit inside. Luckily I will gain it all back this weekend. From someone who frequently visits, How will the crowds be this saturday? Any tips or shortcuts to get to the Mine quicker?
  12. Those slides are dangerous. Seriously. One time I was at American Adventures and the slide was extra fast that day. Many people were catching a little bit of air on the last hump so I decided I would do it. When I got to that hump I must have subconsiously tried to get more air by lifting my but right when I crested the hump, which in turn made me catch about a foot of air off of the slide and land right on my tail bone on the divider between the two lanes. It hurt so bad, that for about a week I could not bend down.
  13. I have another. It was opening of Goliath, and we got to SFOG about two hours before park opening. There were about 40 or so people there when we got there, so I knew it would be tough for us to make the first train. When they opened the gaits, me and my seven other friends sprinted all the way there, and we beat everyone accept one other group of four, but that was ok because they wanted the front seat and we wanted the back. The only problem was it was raining, so we had to wait for an hour for the rain to stop. It finally did, and so we got the first public ride on Goliath. That is probably my most memorable ride and my best roller coaster accomplishment.
  14. Mine would have to be my first ride on Millennium Force. It was a couple of years back in October. We had arrived at Sandusky at about ten at night, and the plan was to go to the park all day the next day, but we could not wait any longer, so we bought a two day ticket just so we could go into the park at 10:30 at night and ride one ride(the park closed at 12:00 because it was fright night or whatever they call it at Cedar point). We decided to ride Millennium because of how cool it looks at night. We had to wait about an hour, so we got to the very front of the line at about 11:30. I sat in the second seat, and my dad and younger brother sat in the row behind me. I could tell it was very cold outside while waiting in line, but as we climbed higher and higher it just kept on getting colder. The wind was blowing really hard off the lake, so it felt even colder than it really was. Even though it was so cold, I made sure to keep my hands up the entire ride, and by the time I had gotten off, my hands felt like they had frost bite, but I didn't care because MF was easily the best ride I had ridden at the time.
  15. Mind Bender at SFOG has a 42'' height restriction, and the forces are very intense, so I don't think it has that much to do with forces.
  16. 48'' for an Arrow Mine train??!?! That is pretty much ridiculous. This is what I think of Cedar Fair
  17. I would have to say either Viper or freefall, both of which are at SFOG. Since SFOG is my home park, I had many chances to ride both of them, and now that they are gone, I miss them very much.
  18. The ride ops at SFOG are pretty good at this, especially at GASM and Mind Bender, although I have never been handed out free coupons(I doubt Six Flags has such a thing ). Also I had another great experience during Goliath's opening day. It was raining that day, so they had to delay the opening an hour. The people who were standing in the station were entertained by one ride op that put on a little dance competition for the people waiting at the top of the stairs in the station.
  19. Oh my God. I need to be at Dollywood now. Im not sure if I can wait two more weeks. That cinnamon bread in a bag whatever it was looked scrumptious.
  20. Wow those were some great looking pictures! Islands of Adventure is such a great park, I never get tired of it. I, along with everybody else, think HarryLand would completely ruin that section of the park. I really like the fact that they had at least one non-comercial section of the park, and it really adds to the park. Harryland would become dull and irelevant within 5-10 years by the time it was built.
  21. 1.Holiday World 2.Cedar Point 3.Islands of Adventure 4.Six Flags over Georgia 5.Busch Garden Tampa 6.Magic Kingdom 7.Mount Olympus water and theme park 8.Paramount Kings Island 9.Paramount Carowinds 10.Six Flags Great America
  22. Voyage is an AMAZING coaster. When people say it really takes a toll on you, they mean the constant forces and never relenting airtime and Tight, tight turns. Its more of an "out of breath" thing, not so much an "I need a wheelchair" thing. If you like "Fierce" rides, Voyage will most certainly not be a let down.
  23. The most laps I have in one day was at the 2006 SFOG spring fling. I got 25 laps on Goliath, and about 10 on Mindbender.
