There is something I don't like about this new look, but I can't put my finger on what exactly. But overall I like the new look much better then the old. I love it that you guys look out for your people and ask for feedback. -Chris

I know this has been pretty well hit on by Robb and others but the question you shouldve asked yourself before this post is. Would you skip visiting the US until you could have the 3-4 years you'd need to do everything, and thats just scraping the surface?

I would be an almost 95% guarantee on the Australia trip as long as you started it on a weekend. I would need 7 days off work that way instead of 8 or 9. I may have more Vaca. next year anyway idk, but regardless im saving for this trip because it seems completely doable for me. Edit: I wanted to also add that having a trip outside of the summer months helps greatly because June-Aug is high production time for work.

^^I like the design, but I think the dates need to be US style (12-31 not 31-12) since most members would be American. It's a really small detail though. I'm staying out of this because I can use photoshop well but not to the point where I can follow all these rules and make a good design.

Two of my favorite rides that are under-rated, or maybe underappreciated is a better word, are Mindbender and Medusa (Bizzaro). They are great unique, more so for Mindbender, rides in their different types and to me get lost in the mire of bigger, faster, more popular coasters like Millenium Force (Which is my favorite) and EGF, etc.

Well, I really wish we could do this, but as it is now, $10 DVDs, $8 T-Shirts, and $3 downloads are about as low as we can possible go! --Robb Yes, but I just couldn't not (double negative yay!) suggest anything haha. After reading everyones post now some additional concerns to add. I do feel that making the PM-only forum worthwhile will include posting stories or videos exclusively, and while not technically taking away something NPM's would have, it would be in reality taking away because normally it would be there for all to see. Now if you post a video there first and then to the regular forum later that is ok by me as the PM's would get the benefit of the first look at a new video or story. If you do things like, interviews or ERT on trips for PM's only then I am also against it as it would be excluding those NPM's on the trip. I am not against a PM only trip though that is ok, but a trip that is for everyone should have everyone getting every perk on that trip. (Aside from discounts on trip pricing or priority seating in the waiting list.) A last question about that as well. If a NPM signed up for a trip and was say the first one to do so, his spot is guarenteed correct? Waiting list priority is fine but if you kick out early birds for late PM's then it would be bad too. Ok I'm done, my vote is still a yes as it stands because from your posts everything seems honky dory and when I get a chance to go on trips I would absolutely take advantage of this.

1. What are your initial thoughts? This is an excellent idea and should not be viewed as a money making scam that will ruin the fun atmosphere of TPR! I only see it going bad if you get greedy and start taking things away from "free" members, but nothing I have ever seen on this site indicates that happening as you guys love your readers! 2. Can you think of anything else we could be offering? An East Coast Bash? haha but no I can't think of anything else. 3. Is this something that interests you? Right now no because I can't really utilize it (Aside from the forum and discounts) and don't know if that would add up to the value of the membership. In the future when I will be able to go on trips, absolutely. 4. Why would you NOT be interested in this? It has been said a bunch, but I can see this losing value from "exclusive" trips if 20-30% of people on here buy them and they become less exclusive, but even that isn't really a bad thing. 5. Any additional feedback you can give us based on the information you see here. Not that I can think of, maybe monthly discounts in the TPR store. Like Jan. is 5% off DVD's for members, Feb. is 5% off t-shirts, something like that.

Cedar Fair is not "big business." They are a regional theme park operator. Theme parks cannot be successfully operated with a "big business" mentality. It didn't work for Disney under Eisner, it didn't work for the former management team @ Six Flags, and it's not working for Cedar Fair now. I understand, I said I agree with you haha. ^^So I should fret and stress all winter right?

^Because 1. There isn't anything I can do about it. 2. The only thing that I wouldn't like is if they closed the park and that will not happen because it would be pretty stupid to do so. So other then that why stress over things that will happen when i can relax and wait for opening day?

My top three are, 1. Incredible Hulk 2. Maverick 3. Any roller soaker - I agree that you can stand there all day watching peoples amazement at the amount of water that just popped in front of them and slammed them in the face hahaha I disagree with splashdown coasters (Griffon, Sheikra, DB, etc.), I don't find them that interesting to watch after the first time.

I would venture to say that having that attitude towards employees is a big part of why the quality (and finances) of Cedar Fair parks has gone down the drain over the last few years. Big business is as big business does, but I agree with you.

I still have no worries about this. As for loss of jobs, maybe jobs will get cut, mabe not. If they do well thats big business, if you don't like being treated as a number go work for a mom & pop place. Life isn't all rainbows and candy handed out at every turn, its more like a Mayan ruin full of tricks and traps that if you get through you can reach the gold awesomeness at the end.

That video is easily one of my favorite TPR vids ever! I can not stop laughing every time you see the outside shot of the spinning dragon ride and how fast it is going while the ride is stopped!

^First the movie is about noise and the surround sound in a theater does it best. Second I watched an illegal version of it after I saw it in theaters (wanting to see one scene again) and that version was actually not the same. The end was different, and some of the nights were different, including the first one. I recommend seeing it in theaters before quoting it off as bad, but now that your opinion of it is poor already you wont be able to see it objectively.

^Not without defense there wont be. Trade two of those great offensemen for some greaet defensemen, you only need two more.

The Fourth Kind 9/10 This movie was excellent and very freaky, just don't look up anything about it before you go it will ruin the initial effect it has on you!

I voted for number two, it is easily the best in all catagorys you listed behind maybe photo one's communication factor. Balance - Definately balanced extremely well, color ranges are solid! Framing - The horizon is straight and there is a good even spread between sky and water (This is part of the balance as well) Light - It has enough light to show off the natural beauty but not too much as to take away from the beauty of the natural light Color - Its pretty, I can just add that here in compliment to the balance comment. Communication - Communicates the point that nature is hard to capture and there are so many wonders that are waiting to be shown to the world through good photography. Aesthetic power - Same as communication and I will add that if this wsa blown up and put into a room it would immediately be helpful in relaxation because of the light colors and the calming tranquility! My order after that would go 1, 6, 3, 5, 4. These are all great photos btw good luck with your grades! EDIT: What kind of camera is this btw? I assume its a DSLR or a high end film camera?

HAHA of course, I use wiki too! I did once change the WWII page to say that America joined the war for fear of a Hello kitty invasion destroying the economy...it stayed for like a month lmao.
