  1. Can we take a moment to talk about the graphic design team at this park?

  2. I mostly was commenting on Aquaman in jest. I think we all know there was a pandemic that threw a monkey wrench into the construction timeline. Although I do think it’s funny that they decided after construction had already begun to add the turntable. It’s the most Six Flags thing ever to make that kind of decision. But at the same time the most un-Six Flags thing ever to make that decision in the name of capacity Also rest assured: It’s surely opening before SFSL’s carousel

  3. TTD is a one trick pony, and I've ridden it maybe 3 times in multiple trips to CP (MF, Maverick, and several others, I greatly prefer to TTD. . hell, I've even ridden Cedar Downs WAY more than TTD. . LOL. . and that's not even a coaster). Kings Island is amazing, and think it's a better park than CP - especially for a non enthusiast, since they don't have as many "extreme" coasters as CP does. . and most of KI's coaster collection is mid-upper tier thrill, with don't' miss ones such as Orion, Beast, Diamondback, Bat, Banshee, and Mystic Timbers. I'd throw Adventure Express in there too. . a very fun (and fast) Mine train coaster. As well as some amazing flats including Boo Blasters on Boo Hill. .which is unlike any other version (think Disney Omnimover like Haunted Mansion, crossed with shooting dark ride). If I had to choose? I'd go to KI. .. and yeah, no comparison between Mystic Timbers and any other coaster. . the trains are great (no wheel seats, so wherever you sit, it's smooth). . .love that one.

  4. ^It has been announced that it will do boarding groups like how Rise used to. And with Resort Guests getting priority unless you're staying on site I wouldn't count on riding it.

  6. No concerns about Dr. Pepper haha...I rarely drink sodas. Unfortunately the park only closes at 8 on that day, so no chance of night rides. Thanks!

  7. Beware...No diet Dr. Pepper right now in the park. If the park is open after dark I can't recommend it enough. Voyage at night puts everything else to shame. Everything else above is solid advice as well. Enjoy your visit to this wonderful park.

  8. I mean..it's the 1st of it's kind in the USA, they added a turn table (which caused some redesign work), and there was this Pandemic Thing that closed many parks for quite a while and impacted revenue flow to parks. just enjoy it when it's open. .and it will open when it's open. Otherwise, I just don't get the bitching.

  9. Yeah, I noticed that too. Look everyone! We made the drop steeper but we put hard trims on it!

  10. The building has had battle damage for a few years now. Not too worried about a single train at the moment. It may be getting its rebuild still. But it has been single train more often than I'd like the last couple years. I hope they get number two running more reliably.

  11. The longest wooden roller coaster in the world gets an overhaul within a matter of months, but the carousel at SFSTL is going to take at least three years to complete.

  12. Keep checking for passholder rates. They can come and go all the time. Hotels reservations can be cancelled up to a day or two before the trip.
