No, that's a super great idea. Just do me a favor before you go and private message me your personal information so I can take out a life insurance policy on you.1 point

Because people have become convinced it will be torn down any day now (which is honestly just silly).1 point

I wouldn't complain about any sprucing up that could potentially occur, but I don't really expect all that much if I'm being honest1 point

After disappearing at the start of the pandemic, Everland's nightly show/fireworks will be returning. It seems Time Odyssey will not be returning instead the new show will be filled with BTS songs and called BTS Over the Universe premiering March 18th. To give you some examples of the night-time shows since a lot of what's advertised in this picture, are used for every show here's some of the previous summer shows set to music. One year was when the Jukebox show was themed to musicals: Another was themed to movie themes, with Harry Potter, E.T, Pirates, Indiana Jones, and a Superman finale but I have to highlight here the Chariot of Fire segment where they took the fire park of the name literally:1 point

so certainly not back where I was . . (and the pictures on the side here make me sad to see). . . BUT. .getting a ticket for Coasterstock did help me get back on track. still struggling with portion size, but was able to cut out fast food, and I've been doing a 40 minute walk almost every day. I started back on 2/28 at 214 lbs. today, 3/10 I'm at 208.4 so down ~5.6 lbs in 11 days. a good start, just need to keep it up!1 point

for the record, I am not on the 'Corp Hates Us' bus but I think we can all agree that SFStL seems like an afterthought at times.1 point

Pantheon is fantastic! Rode it Friday during the previews six times. It was cold but very worth it after all those years waiting and looking at that intamin beauty sitting in its field. The backwards section is not to be downplayed. I had never quite encountered "backwards launching ejector airtime" before until Pantheon and now it's all I want. But yeah the ride is great, the Zero G Winder has nice hangtime. The small outer banks transitioning to the launch track are pretty fun and funky, then when it gets to the swing launch it really picks up the pace and when you start going backwards from the top hat the ride just starts going bananas for a minute. The spike is really tall and you certainly realize that in the back car. The small airtime hill on the backwards pass and the final pass is FANTASTIC with ejector air time. Some minor air at the top of the top hat. The drop is great nothing too wild but still fun and steep enough. The large outer bank turn is very floaty and funky but not quite what I was expecting in terms of forces when I first saw it, I chalk that up to the fact it was in the 40s when I was there but I still found it really fun which is really all that matters. The stall is fun feels more extended and sustained than VelociCoasters and has head choppers but in terms of forces largely the same. Then the head chopper under the drop is a very cool visual and the small wave turn at the end is a great way to end the ride with a bang. I certainly enjoyed Pantheon, new BGW king for me for sure. The ride is rather bare bones in terms of theming/presentation and there is certainly a smell of cow poop as you cross the bridge but at the end of the day in the grand scheme of things I didn't consider it much different than Apollo's Chariots set up and just let it go. I prefer VelociCoaster personally but as an attraction that ride is tough to beat. You could make the argument if you stripped both coasters bare that Pantheon is better for sure but unfortunately for Pantheon, VelociCoaster is not stripped bare and covered with Comcast $s. Overall Pantheon is fantastic and worthy of a visit to BGW alone. I can't wait to ride many times this summer.1 point

So back to the build update: As you can see, the construction of the hotell, water land and the parking garage the will have the Volvo museum on top is moving forward in a steady pace. And you see down below, there is a new building on the Liseberg horizon.. May your track rework go smoothly... The science museum Universeum are building a visualisation laboratory in a dome on top of the museum and it's now looking over Liseberg Information: https://www.universeum.se/nyheter/universeum-bygger-ut-och-upp/ (only in Swedish) 360° version Almost to sunny to take this photo /// Marcus1 point

I am curious to see Iron Gwazi's crowds and popularity once it officially opens. I went today and, despite being open for all passholders (which has to be a large portion of guests, right?), Iron Gwazi was a consistent 15-20 minute wait all day. The capacity is "acceptable" but not THAT good, I was expecting huge crowds today with it being much more widely accessible now that it was a few weeks ago, but it wasn't very crowded at all. I wanted to go one last time during previews because I assumed it would turn into a mess of people once it opens to the public but perhaps all the nerds and coaster geeks and thrillseeking families who want to ride it have already ridden it, and anybody else from here on out is just a casual guest who may just see it as another ride rather in the park and not totally flock to it. It was actually pretty genius on SeaWorld/Busch's part to do these very extended and tiered previews (yes, they delayed it 2 years... but give credit where credit is due I suppose). I'm sure it will cut opening day crowds and hype by a LOT and make it much more manageable.1 point

We went to the park again on Friday to get one last day (for us at least) of passholder previews before Iron Gwazi opens to the public next week. As my bf and I both have busy and conflicting work schedules, coupled with not being all that interested in visiting any of the parks during spring break, we likely won't make it back out to the park again until sometime in April. After fighting absolutely horrendous pre-weekend I-4 traffic, we were dreading a busy park and prepared to buy QQ just in case, but we got to the park around 3:00 PM and we got a bunch of Iron Gwazi rides with 2-4 train waits, max. Operations were super fast and consistent, and as on our first day riding it, Iron Gwazi was kicking all sorts of ass. One thing we either didn't notice before or was added since the VIP event was a small selection of pre-mixed drinks sold at the popcorn stand outside Iron Gwazi's entrance. We got the Iron Gwazi Fizz, which was some kind of gin-lemonade drink and it was really good and fairly strong. We also love that SeaWorld continues to be the only park chain to do a passholder discount on alcohol! After some of these, we headed up the left path and found SheiKra operating with riders, a surprise we didn't expect to see. The park finished maintenance work early and decided to re-open it a day early, sweet! They were only using one station but operating 3 trains, so the 10-minute or so wait moved fast. We also rode Kumba, which was running two trains with zero wait, so we rode our hearts out on what was Florida's best coaster for like 25+ years until these new gen-Zers came in with their iron alligators and velociraptor nonsense. While I'd say it's now the third-best coaster in Florida, Kumba still kicks all sorts of ass and is still a top-15 or so coaster for me. Ride it in the back on an edge seat for positive-G bliss. We saw Montu cycling and got excited for a second, but it was to cycle past park close with no riders. It wasn't scheduled to re-open until Saturday anyway, so oh well, but we definitely miss our only B&M invert in Florida. We went back and got some more rides on Iron Gwazi, with a line that at first was 30ish minutes, then died completely out again. Overall we were in the park for about 5ish hours and got to do everything we wanted to do. Operations were good and we're happy that the park continues to improve. The fact that we've now been able to get something like 20 rides on a brand new RMC so easily in just 2 visits is so, so awesome. To compare, I think I've been on Steel Vengeance like 15ish times total and we've gone every year with multi-day stays onsite with Fast Lane. This isn't a knock to Cedar Point, as we also take kind of a "chill" approach to parks we go to and don't get there at the crack of dawn nor run around like maniacs to ride every coaster during every possible moment until we're blue in the face, but it shows how easily accessible Iron Gwazi has been during just two visits during passholder previews. I already can't wait to get back to the park when it's off-peak again.1 point
