ParkTrips Posted May 21, 2006 Posted May 21, 2006 Hey guys! We're working on the park listing database and are in need of some help. A lot of the parks that TPR hasn't visited in a while, or only once, could use some photos! We'd appreciate your submissions to help make the site an even better collection of photos! Currently, we need some photos from: * Lagoon * Great Escape * Libertyland * Oaks Park and Thrill Ville * Six Flags New Orleans * Quassy * Puyallup fair * Scandia * Marineland Feel free to upload photos from any of those parks to the forums and we will transcribe them to the "main" site. For now, please just help us out with these parks, and if you can't help right now, don't worry - I am sure there will come a time when we need help with other parks! Thanks! 8) edit - updated
DerekRx Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I'll try to find the photos I took last year from Idlewild and Michigan's Adventure, though most of the noteworthy ones should be in my old Photo TRs. I'll keep Great Escape in mind, as I'm heading there at some point this July.
shesaidboom Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Here are a few from Michigan's Adventure, taken last August, although they're not the greatest pictures ever. I'm heading to Idlewild and Lakemont in a couple weeks so I'm sure I'll get some pictures of those parks then. Full version of the first picture. Big Dipper. Mad Mouse. Wolverine Wildcat. Wolverine Wildcat from the mini-golf course. Shivering Timbers as seen from parking lot. Shivering Timbers. Corkscrew. Shivering Timbers. Zach's Zoomer.
larrygator Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 OMG - shesaidboom turned Zach's Zommer from a jr woodie into a steel kiddie coaster. Joe/Robb - sorry I never carry a camera around
shesaidboom Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 ^ ooops. I captioned them after I uploaded them all and wasn't paying attention. Yay for edit buttons.
ParkTrips Posted May 22, 2006 Author Posted May 22, 2006 I added to the list, thanks for the MIA photos though we could always use more from other members. - Joe

rollermonkey Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 When do you start working on parks OUTSIDE the US?
robbalvey Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 ^ As soon as we can get all the US parks updated! --Robb
rollermonkey Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Well, Jeez! By then I'll be back in the states! OK, yeah, every picture I've ever taken is clogging up my hard drive. Just waiting for your say-so!
thunder001 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Same here Robb..... When you do start to work on the parks Outside the US, be sure to let us know....have enough pictures to fill out at least a couple of pages, although with the quality of the Pict's so far, I need to keep practicing my photography.
WillMontu Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 I have tons from Wild Aventures. I posted some in my TR (http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=23415&start=208) I can also upload some more, showcasing the park as well as the coasters. In addition, I have high resolution versions of the pics from the TR.
jamesdillaman Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Here's some my gf and I took at Timbers Fest 2004: Some angles I hadn't seen in the other pics. My favorite picture I've ever taken of a coaster. I think it's beautiful their (then new) waterslide... never seen at any other park!! and yet again and again The Wolverine Wildcat the obligatory shivering timbers shot, although the rest of mine were at night and didn't really turn out the arrow mouse coaster the entire layout corkscrew
ParkTrips Posted May 22, 2006 Author Posted May 22, 2006 Thanks for all the photos again guys! Well, Jeez! By then I'll be back in the states! OK, yeah, every picture I've ever taken is clogging up my hard drive. Just waiting for your say-so! Hey! I'm actually trying to get the US parks done by the time you get to Europe, not the States! Right now there are about 50 stateside parks left to work on, but most of them are small parks with 1 or 2 coasters, or the ones I am asking photos for. I will be working on it a lot! Most of the problems spawn in the parks they haven't visited since late 2003 when they FINALLY got a real camera... I can't say for sure, but Japan and Europe probably won't need as many photos as these parks do, plus, most of the European parks are now DONE in terms of park incides. - Joe, who can probably knock out one or two on his lunch break now...
CoasterGuy06 Posted May 22, 2006 Posted May 22, 2006 Sea World San Antonio pics taken from my trip last month: I'll start out with the Donkey pic!
ParkTrips Posted May 22, 2006 Author Posted May 22, 2006 Thanks for the Sea World photos, I figured that would be a tough one, I appreciate it. OK we still need some from: * Valleyfair! - everything but Wild Thing * Lake Compounce * Lagoon * Great Escape * Idlewild * Lakemont Park * Libertyland * Oaks Park and Thrill Ville * Silverwood * Six Flags New Orleans * Six Flags STL * Morey's Piers - everything but Nor Easter and Great White (they do have a bunch of other coasters, right?) * Wild Adventures Thanks for the help guys! - Joe
ParkTrips Posted May 23, 2006 Author Posted May 23, 2006 Just another update... * Valleyfair! - everything but Wild Thing * Lagoon * Great Escape * Idlewild * Libertyland * Oaks Park and Thrill Ville * Silverwood * Six Flags New Orleans * Six Flags STL * Morey's Piers - everything but Nor Easter and Great White * Quassy * Puyallup fair * Scandia * Waldameer * Marineland * Canada's Wonderland And believe it or not, that's all for North America and subsequently the extent of what we will need (or so it seems). Please help where you can, and thanks in advance! - Joe
TheStig Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Ahh good thing Wild Adventures was taken off, all I have is a picture of a broken S&S and one sweet mullet! Colin C One Sweet ass mullet Broken S&S Screamin Swing
Real Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Michigans Adventure I think some of these deserve a look. Pretty high quality and size. Plus theres a pretty good pano (maybe the best Ive seen) of all of Shivering Timbers.

I mean the mullet wasn't THAT good At this point, there are very few US parks left for me to do, I'm waiting on the help we need so please contribute where you can - Joe
