Hattuchili
Hey guys, I had a day off and drove to Clearwater Beach! A friend (Stefan) and I, rent a car at the WDW Dolphin Resort and drove to the Beach! I really must say it was a amazing beach! The sand was so fine, the water so warm and clear and the whole beach so clean! I really enjoyed it to go out and see something different then Disney! Anyway, onto the pictures: --Sören Stefan also enjoyed it! - Thanks for reading! Doesn´t it looks good? After that we drove to Sonny´s for "All You Can Eat Ribs"! Yes, the two stupid German Cast Member paid 50 cents per person for the Pier! ... ... ... and with us birds! Yeah, we were there! So we walked to the Pier! Anyway, back to the beach! ... look at me, the weather is great! Stefan: Sören, you don´t need a T-Shirt... the other side! The beach and Pier 60! It looks like we made it! Hey, there is water! ... Then on the Highway to Clearwater Beach After getting the car, was our first stop McDonald´s! Welcome at the WDW Dolphin. Our day started at Epcot to go to the WDW Dolphin Resort. CoasterFanatic
Nice TR Soren. You are brining back all kinds of old Tampa memories. I used to have to drive that miserable 275 to work every day.
live2tell75
Soren- Looks like you had a good time. You were only about 15 minutes from where I live! I live near Redington Shores / Indian Rocks Beach which is south of Clearwater Beach. Did you stay for the nightly Sunset festival at Pier 60? Usually the sunset festival is pretty nice, especially if you have never been to Clearwater Beach. Glad you had a good time. --Eric J
RCTfan
Soren, I'm glad to see you are having a blast down here in Florida. I'm sad I haven't gotten to see you since the first night! Hopefully we'll get a chance to hang out again. They have us Goofys working WAY too hard, haha. I'll need to stop by the Germany pavilion sometime soon! Anyway, we have to meet again, too! I was really busy the last weeks, but I let you know my schedule! Soren, where in the Germany pavillion at Epcot do you work? My friends and I are going to be at Epcot on Sunday, maybe we will stop by and say hello. Hey Eric, on sunday I will work from 01:00PM till 09:45PM. ventedspleen
Clearwater Beach is wonderful, went there in 2001 And I've also stayed at the WDW Dolphin, in my opinion, the BEST Disney Resort hotel! So plush and gorgeous and so much stuff nearby, plus it's walking distance to Epcot, and if you don't want to walk, you can take one of the boats there (the other boat goes to MGM) Just round the corner from Dolphin are Yacht & Beach club resort (great breakfasts) and the Disney Boardwalk resort I miss WDW
ParkTrips
BOOOOO @ Sonny's. WTF kind of BBQ place doesn't have brisket?
