I you have downloaded my previous 'trial set', please remove it as it may cause unforseen problems. Where it says Come and Get It is the Download. The page the set is located on can be found Here. Also, if your looking for awesome custom fireworks, PyroMikkel has a set released a while ago containing 326 AWESOME custom fireworks. Download them from this page and put them into the c:/programfiles/atari/rollercoastertycoon3/fireworks folder. *DO NOT FORGET TO TAKE THEM OUT OF THEIR FOLDER AND PLACE THEM ALL INTO THE FIREWORKS FOLDER SEPARATELY The fireworks will not show up in the game if you leave them in the folder they come in when downloaded.* Thats all for now folks, Ill keep updating as things come. I't only a few pieces, but enough to dress up your park. There is a known issue with the transparancy method available to us, that of an X-Ray effect where it appears that you can see though scenery beyond the trellis. Color affects this effect and I've made the pieces re-colorable. It's up to you to see what works best in your park. Your detail settings and angle of view can also cause the X-Ray effect, too. The effect is completely unpredictable (even a saved park that looked great went all X-Ray after it was opened a second time). it may be related to what piece of scenery is placed first. http://www.vodhin.net/RCT3Community/request.php?361 This just in! Oh, and BTW guys, there's a new really awesome and easy tutorial for importing objects into the game! I would make a custom scenery set if I had any 3D modeling knowledge. He has been following this thread, and is dying to download some of the scenery. Can it be done without Wild? Where do we save it? (I know, really stupid question, but I told you I was a real newbie.) What would you recommend to start with? (He's dying to to build some dark rides.) Any help would be greatly appreciated. goleafsgo Posted September 5, 2006 Share Posted September 5, 2006 yes it can be done without wild. download the scenery to your desktop or wherever, then extract the files from the zip folder (right click then press extract all), then cut and paste all that stuff into: program files>atari>rollercoaster tycoon 3>styles>themed. kennywood!007 Posted November 4, 2006 Share Posted November 4, 2006 Shyguy is back! And he arrives with a new set. Its called Catfish Cove. The scenery cand be used for a variety of themes. Like Harbor/dock, western, and moutain type parks and rides. I would rate this pack a 9/10. Missing a point because it does not include as many items like Mainstreet, or Alpine Village.
