onewheeled999
^^ To get spin on your ball, you have to hit the ball after you toss it up into the air, and then when it reaches the apex of it's climb, hit it. If you're lucky, you'll get it on your first few tries.

thomas2
I don't mean the power serve but I mean that sometimes the bots hit a ball which you think is a forehand but it suddenly bounces and becomes a backhand.
kraken613
Its all about the timing......
thomas2
Its all about the timing...... Â I don't think so... The timing only affects where the ball goes. Â I praticed today and I finally get most of the time the effect I want. You just have to twist your wrist when you hit the ball. Sounds easier than it is... chmilo24
You just have to expect everything and anything. You can't get surprised.
AllenA07
One of these day's I'll join the cool kids and get myself a Wii. I've decided that when I next see one in stock I'll pick it up, so far it has been two months and I've yet to see one.

astroworldfan1
It would be cool if the Wii could play movies. Is it capable of playing movies? Â Is Mario Party 8 any good? Â -Tatum
the sound
^ Don't bother with Mario Party. The single player mode is so boring. Wario Ware smooth moves is better.
kraken613
Dont get Mario Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy , Metroid Prime 3 Corruption........ One of those and you will be set.

astroworldfan1
Well im pretty much the coolest kid at school because I have a 360, PS3, and Wii. Plus an awsome gaming PC. Â Spoiled. Â I went to Block Buster and rented to games, Rock Star Table Tennis (waste of money) and Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. I haven't yet played Mario and Sonic. Â Does anyone else think it's stupid you have to have a Credit Card when renting games? Can't they just use your Driver's License number? kraken613
I dont rent games but it is stupid. The people who rent games alot dont have credit cards.
Guest
^ How do you know they don't? Â Anyway I see it as they're testing it out. They'd rather spend a few bucks to play the game for a bit and see if its any good, than to buy a $50 game to turn out to be utter crap.
kraken613
Well alot of them are kids and they dont have credit cards..... I even know some people who are older like 20 that dont have credit cards. Its not a test they have been doing it since the PS3 and Wii came out.
onewheeled999
Heh. I have a funny story about Brawl from last week... I was walking home with my friends, and I was talking about how I was only renting brawl, and Brannon was like "What's the point in renting Brawl? You can get it for only like 10 bucks more!" What's really sad is that he believed what he was saying. We told him, "No, you idiot! Brawl is like 50 bucks!" He's like "I thought PS2 games were only 20 bucks..." Â Moral of the story... Don't think that Brawl is on the PS2 so that your friends will think you're an idiot for the rest of the year.

Yea, I remember the good old days when I would walk home from school and stop by Blockbuster and get some N64 games.
onewheeled999
It would be really, REALLY awesome if the Wii got the Valve game 'Portal'. It's on pretty much every major system except PS2 and Wii, why not put it on one of them? Â Until then, i have to stick with the flash version... chmilo24
That would be sweet if it did have it. Â When will the Wii get DLC?
Peejay
I picked up Mario Kart today and just played it a little bit. It's so much fun, I love it. Also the first time I tried online playing and it worked pretty well.
the sound
I didn't hate Mario Party as much as others did, I thought it was a solid fun game! Â For me, Mario Party's Problem is that it is way to slow. For me, moving around the board etc is boring and pointless. The game would be a lot more fun for multi player if there was a pointy scoring mode were all you do is play mini games, and not have to move around the board. But whatever, the extras were pretty cool though.
