Bob O Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 I have heard from some reports that the few SF parks now open have added new chracters that havent been seen in years. Which ones have recently been seen in the parks?? And just looney toons, or have they added Batman/Superman etc.?
robbalvey Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 I've seen tons at SFMM so far. Both the male and female Porky Pig, Foghorn, the Skunk guy, and even Marvin the Martian was out yesterday! But mostly all Looney Tunes. --Robb
Nick-Mac Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 I want to see speedy, never seen him at any SF park and he's my favorite looney toon the fastest mouse in all of mexico, ariba ariba
ParkTrips Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Batman and Superman and Wonder Woman etc. are coming soon, problem is finding people to fit the role. You can't put a fatass in Superman's leotards, for example. They all have to look a certain way.
SharkTums Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 ^I think Robb would look pretty sexy as Superman!! You know, that little bit of chest hair that sticks out of the leotard!!! Face characters at SFMM. hell has truly frozen over.
XanderLee Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 We actually have to send pictures of the people who are going to play the justice league characters to DC Comics for approval.
wrs28330 Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 okay here is a complete list: 20 characters total, 15 WB, and 5 justice league: Bugs Bunny Daffy Duck Marvin the Martain Sylvester the Cat Tweety Bird Yosemite Sam Porky Pig Petunia Pig Pepe le Pew speedy gonzales Foghorn Leghorn Wyle E. Cyote Lola Bunny and two more which I forgot. Justice League: Batman Robin Green Lantern Wonder Woman Flash Gordon
SharkTums Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 ^I'm guessing the big red guy is one of the characters as I've seen him before at SFGAd.
s2pids2 Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 ^ I presume you are talking about Gossamer!
wrs28330 Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 THat is gossimer, and no, he will not be seen in the park.
Bob O Posted February 21, 2006 Author Posted February 21, 2006 I know it would be hard to do, but i want too see my favorite looney toon character, The Roadrunner!!
Guy T. Koepp Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 okay here is a complete list: 20 characters total, 15 WB, and 5 justice league: Bugs Bunny Daffy Duck Marvin the Martain Sylvester the Cat Tweety Bird Yosemite Sam Porky Pig Petunia Pig Pepe le Pew speedy gonzales Foghorn Leghorn Wyle E. Cyote Lola Bunny and two more which I forgot. Justice League: Batman Robin Green Lantern Wonder Woman Flash Gordon When did Flash Gordon become a Justice League character? Let alone a DC comics character. Do you mean the Flash? Guy "Flash Gordon is a Sci Fi Character. I think." Koepp
Guy T. Koepp Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Oh! What about the Chicken Heart! Remember the Chicken Heart? That would be an awesome character. Guy "I loves me tha Chicken Heart." Koepp
PhishyBrewer Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 ^I think Robb would look pretty sexy as Superman!! You know, that little bit of chest hair that sticks out of the leotard!!! . Damn you Elissa... I was about to go to bed!
Homer Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Guy "Flash Gordon is a Sci Fi Character. I think." Koepp According to Wikipedia; In 1988, DC Comics produced a modernized version of the comic strip. It featured Flash as washed up basketball player who finds new purpose in life on Mongo, which is no threat to Earth, Dale who is an adventurous reporter who is just as capable as Flash, and a gray-skinned Ming who is less of an Asian stereotype.
Wes Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Regardless of whether DC owns Flash Gordon or not, he's too obscure of a character to be a walk around. I'm sure he meant The Flash.
DLA Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 I'm pretty sure Six Flags Over Georgia had the Roadrunner, but some little hellion beat the (female, I believe) employee up, and destroyed the costume. Characters at Disney parks are so often abused, I just can't imagine what the poor Looney Tunes are in for at Six Flags.
Spookbaby Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Is anyone else but me picturing the people dressed as the DC comic characters like the people dressed as the Marvel superheros at IOA but only cheesier? Or is that just me?
s2pids2 Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 this is so sad. i mean really, really, sad! Edit....
XanderLee Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Yes, there is a roadrunner costume, and it is awesome. It's apparently very hard to wear though.
verticalzero Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Does everyone move out the way of "Pepe le Pew " when he appers I wish the UK parks had these characters as it makes people more happy. Have you seen "Wyle E. Cyote" chase "Roadrunner" round the park, they could get onto a coaster or a spin n puke ride. I can imagine Wyle E. Cyote on the front seat of "X" and "Roadrunner" at the back. That would be fun to see. Robb could be "Tarzan".
s2pids2 Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Robb would be the warewolf at Universals 'Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue!' show. Either that, or teen wolf...but he's not a teen anymore.
