Seriously why is Robb such an ass? I guess all these years of bad grammar has lead him to ignore politness and go straight for the snide remarks. I thought this site was to bring coaster fans together. Maybe he should slow down and look at some of his dialogue in the photo archive. Sometimes he forgets to even add letters here and there.

 

His excuses have been, well a late night, etc. etc. etc.

 

Seriously Robb give us a break, and we'll give you one. Maybe you should take a step back and admire how many coaster fans just YOU have drawn together and stop being such a jerk. First off you could've asked me nicely. Guess living the coaster live procures such things.

Umm, I'm not sure I remember Robb ever making "excuses", he states that he makes mistakes, as does everybody, and that's fine, it's people who just don't give a damn about how difficult their posts are to read that he has a problem with. Even if and when Robb DOES ask people to improve the quality of their posts, to my knowledge he's never resorted to personal attacks: "ass", "jerk"? Please.

 

If you have a problem, I'd suggest PMing him rather than starting a poll, you're hardly going to receive much sympathy.

I don't think it's too much to ask that people use correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling. It only takes an extra second to make a proper post, especially with the free spell check tools available.

 

Like all message boards, there are rules you agree to when you sign up. If you don't like them, there are plenty of other boards on the web which let you be as ignorant as you want to be.

You have terrible grammar, you ask people for their opinions (but then try restrict people from saying anything YOU don't want to hear), and now you're calling out Robb (who is just trying to keep HIS site a decent place to post). As EBL has said, this is a discussion forum, not instant messanger, so your manners and grammar should follow accordingly. If you don't like Robb's rules, don't post here. It's his site and he can do whatever he wants.

That said, just running off at the mouth about what you think is going on with Robb... isn't right.

 

Just learn to slow yourself down when you type, then hit Preview and have an honest look thru it. Corrections can be easily made, etc. I do it all the time. And I'm sure others do, too.

 

There's "slang" and then there's just bad typing. Simple.

 

 

After all these months here at TPR, Robb, Elissa and all the guys pinch- hitting for them (Ass-sistants indeed, lol), this is a remarkable thing to keep up on.

What do I think? I think first off, you really need to read the posting rules regarding spelling and grammar. Secondly, I think you need to not tell people how they are supposed to respond. "Don't just write build a woodie", etc. And finally, they should get a Dive Machine and BGT.

Which he has since edited. It needed editing, it had horrible grammar and he told people not to respond in certain ways. It was warranted. If it was my site, I wouldn't have been so leniant. Bannination!
