I remember those when I was a kid, but I didn't think they were available anymore. Some people seem to feel that pretending to smoke is a bad thing.... But I remember them well, you could puff out these so called cigarettes, which I believe was flour (as smoke) and then the rest was gum. I haven't seem them in years.

Try this the next time you crave garlic pasta.... In a microwave-safe bowl (preferably glass or ceramic) coat the bottom of the bowl with EXTRA-LIGHT olive oil, (about 1/4 cup) and add 4-5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped or crushed. Nuke for 1 minute. Leave in microwave, and prepare your pasta. (Cavatelli is AWESOME for this...) Once your pasta is ready, microwave your oil/garlic mixture again for one more minute. Then toss in your pasta, salt to taste. (don't fear, depending on your brand of oil, it may need 2 coatings/stirring of salt.) I always serve this with either steak or italian fried chicken breasts. Everyone who's tried this loves it.
