Warlord694 Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 TTD rollback on-ride video was great on the east coast parks show. They had 2 rollbacks when filming the guys on the ride.
Luxo Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 "It's Son of Beast and it doesn't care about you one bit..." "Son of Beast will have you questioning your sanity..." LMFAO!!! Always good for a laugh, like when they said the GA Scorcher has five inversions Paul Ruben. knuff said! - Joe, who can't help but watch a marathon of coaster shows LMAO! It's also funny to hear what the GP say. "It blasts you at 100MPH and goes up the hill thing...and I've heard if they made it any taller the train would FLY off the track!" (talking about Xcelerator)
Blazen_AZN Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 Vekoma SLC: "it just moves everywhere!" "Mind eraser will accept her request... for madness!" and my favorite quote ever... when she goes through one of the turns, in mid sentence, she yelled "OUCH!" oh and Paul Ruben had a great time talking about them.
phazan Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 '' this lady wants to loose her mind! and she has come to the right place!'' (also vekoma slc!)
J man Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 I started watching them earlier today but I got bored by like the third show. I can only take so much of those coaster shows at once.
socalMAN123 Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 OMG I'm glad I don't have Travel Channel! Five hours of Paul Reuben going on and on, I just can't stand it! ---Brent 8)
Joe21498 Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 I can't stand how the Paul Ruben guy doesn't fasten his seatbelt all the way tight and leaves his lapbar up a bit. He even noticeably stands up on the bunny hills when riding Superman at SFDL. Does this guy want to die or something. It's people like this that become the cause of coaster accidents. I just don't know why the park will allow that to go on, especially when it is filmed. If you watch other chain parks in the shows like Cedar Point and Dorney the guests are all forced to hold the grab bars and follow other proper rider instructions. You certainly don't see lose seatbelts and spacious lapbars.
ParkTrips Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 He leaves his lapbar up because he's so damn fat!! Actually, that show took place before the seconf accident at NE, back when the ride was much more spacious than today. There are a few reasons why it looks like the guests at those two parks are strapped in better. First off, it's the cut-off-circulation-if neccessary Cedar Fair safety practices that are taking place! On top of that, there's actually AIRTIME on Superman as opposed to any of the rides at Cedar Point and Dorney! (sorry Jay Superman owns Steel Force!)
Lord Turbine Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 I watched one Ultimate Thrill, the final one. They seriously need to make new coaster specials. They're getting boring. And they don't show 'em enough either.
ParkTrips Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 They're getting boring. And they don't show 'em enough either. Anyone else smell irony?
lapseofreason Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 CRAP!!! I missed the coaster shows again. By the time I remembered, it was 5PM. Oh well, next time.
Guy T. Koepp Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 I am realy getting tired of seeing the same old shows. It sounds like, and I'm hoping that they have quite a few new ones for the Spring. Guy"My TiVo grabs them all whenever their on." Koepp
coasterguy618 Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Crap I missed it. I forgot all about it.
