Kaentae Posted December 15, 2005 Posted December 15, 2005 I just imported Animal Crossing, there's not a chance in hell I was gonna wait until February, and like for just £2.00 extra I can get it 3 months early, sounds like a good trade off to me. Anyone in Europe that does want to import it early get it from http://www.cdwow.com it's £26.99 with free delivery and it comes real quick. But man I've had it for a day and I'm already addicted....much like I was when I imported the GC version, it's hellish good! My details are: Name: Kaentae Town: Pylia Code: 1589-7497-1361
CoasterDude211 Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 Finally got this game for Christmas and I love it. For those of you who want my friend code and info, here it is: 5283-4283-2312 My name is Robby and my town is Orlando. Hope to see you around!
Teddymonster Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 Yeah, umm, I'd like to confess I am a giant loser and haven't been able to pick up a DS till today and now I can't seem to get my hands on a copy of AC. I finally found a Best Buy that has "4" left and the bitch won't hold me a copy...I used to work for Best Buy and other retail stores and if someone says they can't hold a game for you, they're just being lazy and evil. I mean, try and find AC DS on anything online. BB, Amazon, EB Games, Circuit Shitty, all that, are all SOLD OUT!!! Wish me luck on my electronic whorring today. I WILL find it, even if I have to go to that AC DS nazi and beat a copy out of her... BTW, is it possible to make this a sitcky?
Slacking Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 I highly doubt anyone will see this within the enxt few minutes, but I'm about to go online with the game. How'd the search go teddymonster?
Erik Johnson Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 My town is online right now...I think I have everyone listed.
Lord Turbine Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 w00t! Robb and Elissa are on my friends list! I just got this game yesturday, can't get enough. I have nothing to do in the town, but it doesn't get boring, strangely. *runs to town gate, remarks how easy it is to do stuff with touch screen* Name: Turbine Friend Code: 2835-2973-0112 Town: Vegas Check out the NES Controller Flag! And my NES controller shirt... and hat. I got 3D glasses from the Able Sisters just a couple minutes back... they're awesome. *looks for more bells* OH! By the way, I'll be officially on once I get my USB connector, at which point, I'll say so.
Teddymonster Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 How'd the search go teddymonster? I went over there a little bit after I vented on here and actually found a helpful Best Buy employee amidst all the busy New Yorkers. He went to the back and fetched me one, which totally made my day. I also had to wait for like 45 mins. in line to buy it and then waited even longer for an MOD to come and open the box to pull me out a DS. So far I'm pretty impressed with the game. I just finished all my initial bitch duties and got my code. Town: Smiley (Isn't it clever?) Code: 5369-3293-0042 Name: Ted
Slacking Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 At least thats more clever than my town's name (ummm..... Townston, pretty dumb)
Teddymonster Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 ^^Yeah, I thought of all these cool names, but the field is only so long. Oh well, Smiley will do for now...
Teddymonster Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 ^Same, Erik! I promise I won't cut down trees...just steal some of your native fruit. Feel free to do the same.
Slacking Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Teddy, I added you too. Whats your native fruit? I had my gates opened for a little bit just now, I'll probably open them back up in a couple hours.
disneyfan1313 Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Woo-Hoo! AC:WW is fun! I got stacey a DS and the game for X-mas and it is even more addictive than the game cube version. My only wish would be for it to use the Wi-Fi more and pull info from the web (i.e. the weather in your zip code is rain so it will rain in the game, etc.) but perhaps that will be for the revolution version..
OzCatter Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 For such a hard game to find, I was lucky to find it today at Best Buy. I still need to get online with it, but that's until I get the dongle. Stupid 2Wire wont work with the DS.
Slacking Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Until I read the posts here and another board, I had no idea AC:WW was so hard to find. Thats awesome that people are buying it. I was so obsessed with finding it, I got it the first day (w/o reserving, I don't like reserving games.)
OzCatter Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 I basically went through many stores looking for it just today, probably 15 alone before barely finding it through the internet
DeliriumTrigger Posted December 29, 2005 Posted December 29, 2005 Funny...I went to two best buys and a gamestop yesterday (for other reasons) and they all had a bunch of copies.

Teddymonster Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 ^^Dude, you officially rule...you totally made my day! Thanks for taking the time to do that. Also, this going to Erik as much as anyone else, if you come back to town and all of your trees are chopped down, all you have to do is turn off the console without saving and you will have all of your trees back when you restart. You just have to deal with Resetti, is all. BTW, isn't it ironic that the New Year's celebration in ACDS was more visually appealing than World of Warcraft? I mean come on!
Lord Turbine Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 ^LOL, it was? Cool. I liked my pixelated fireworks... and any time Tortimer's out is a good time. Tortimer rules.
DeliriumTrigger Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 ^^I just tried that, it doesn't work. The game saves when the person leaves.
Teddymonster Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 ^^I just tried that, it doesn't work. The game saves when the person leaves. Ugh, those lying bastards. Thanks for telling me, so I don't mislead any more people.
pvcoasterguy Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I just picked up my copy yesterday. Unfortunately, our router at our house simply doesn't work with the DS. Don't know why; it simply doesn't. However, I ordered a Nintendo Wi-Fi thingy for the computer, which will transmit a signal specially for the Nintendo DS. I'm loving the game right now; hopefully I'll get the connection up and running!
