DerekRx Posted December 4, 2005 Posted December 4, 2005 Nice place you got there, Carlos. For a second I thought you were going to take us back to Mexico to your little village, which would have been awesome! But I guess your college pad is pretty cool too. Do yourself a favor and next time you're at Disney, pick up some Christmas ornaments from the Christmas shop in Downtown Disney. Enjoy the rest of your semester, and I'll hopefully see you in March or April!
waterviper Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Carlos: Hey tree how is it going? Tree: not so good. Carlos: Awww whats wrong? Tree: DRESS ME UP WILL YA!!!!!
SonOfBeastSucks Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 ^Dennis hasn't posted. Haha, yes he has. My name is Dennis.
BiCoastal Kid Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 ^You just referred to yourself in the third person! I stand corrected.[/b]
RCTfan Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Ha, we have the same crappy college furniture here in Virginia. Comfy on the cushions, but not between. As for the tree, get a Mickey for the top, forget angels! Sometime past mid-January, we'll have to hit up Disney parks sometime, I'll be down there back on internship, so we can make some awesome photo TRs!
Teddymonster Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Man, that is a sweet kitchen for a dorm. Where do you go to school?
SonOfBeastSucks Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Man, that is a sweet kitchen for a dorm. Where do you go to school? I'm not Carlos, but I do know he goes to the Florida Institue of Technology.
Frade Posted December 5, 2005 Author Posted December 5, 2005 Hey Derek Thanks for the comment. Well, you are right; I wish I had the chance to get some ornaments to my poor college tree, lol. And also for you, enjoy the rest of this 2005 year and I really hope to see you in March or April. See you and happy holidays & Feliz Navidad!
BelizeIt Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 That Christmas Tree Needs Some Serious Decoration! But At Least You Have a Real Tree. Break out the Christmas Lights! I Prefer Live Trees Over the Fake Ones. I Like the Aroma of a Real Tree, It's What the Holidays are all about.
Scaparri Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Wow! Is that an FIT dorm or do you have an apartment near campus? Either way, that's an impressive place you have.
QuakerOaties Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 I want a dorm like that!!! Thats nice. My friend at college has her own room, a suite (With 5 other suitemates), hardwood floors, and a fireplace.... Mark "I'm sure my dorm will be bad" Luskus
Coaster Palooza Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 That's a very nice, and clean, place you have there Carlos. Hopefully you'll get some ornaments to decorate that tree.
Frade Posted December 6, 2005 Author Posted December 6, 2005 Hey Yes, this dorm in on-campus, they are called "Columbia Village" in honor of the 7 astronauts that dies on Columbia, I live in Anderson. Well if you do not know, Florida Tech is the University of NASA in some way. But the best part here is that I did not knew about this school until one day that I went to Boston to visit MIT & Harvard; when I was applying to those schools. On my flight back, I was sited next to a Harvard Director or something, and we started talking (obviously because the flight Boston – Mexico is like 4 hours long), so I told her my passion to design and build theme parks and roller coasters, and she told me that I will never find that up there, she told me that she knew some professor for FIT that teaches roller coaster designing and I was like WTF???? Wow, so I look at the campus, the Structural Civil Engineering program and here I am getting ready to learn all stuff I need to design a theme park & roller coasters. The best part is that since we are one hour from Orlando, they have internships with Disney Imagineering. I think I choose the best college for me first because of the weather, second because of the great Civil Engineering program they offer and third because I am a Disney Fan & I go there every weekend and have tons of fun. Well here are some more pictures of FIT located at Melbourne ( we call it MELBORING) compared to Orlando, lol Enjoy. For more picture of FIt go to: http://www.fit.edu Later I will post picture of my room. Yay, my village, lol My bro & I at Clemente Entrance That is where I take almost all my classes. More Engineering Complex My bro & I at the Engineering Complex Here is my living room at the beginning of the semester. No X-mas tree, lol That building is the Engineering Complex This is the sports center called Clemente Center Hello, its ME One of FITs entrance My new Accent My Anderson Hall, lol My brother Laejandro and I entering Columbia Village. By the wat my brother is just 17 years old and he is taller than me, lol Me at the jungle inside FIT That is my Village Hahaha, no comments, lol That is my room door, lol
SharkTums Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Nice pictures! If you become a Disney Imagineer, you have to imagineer more Chip n Dale rides...I'm going to hold you to that! Hope to see you again in March!
