ShoubraStreet74 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 ^If you've recently installed new drivers for an nvidia video card it tends to screw up the overlay settings and make colors look weird. (they can be reset in the advanced display settings) If that's not it I have no idea.
jarmor Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 Im still trying to upload it to the themeparkreview.net site but its still giving me the same message... I dont have AIM (its the devil!)
robbalvey Posted November 22, 2005 Author Posted November 22, 2005 What message? Or can you post a screenshot. It seems to be working for other people... If you are using IE these are the steps you should go through.... in your brower type ftp.themeparkreview.net it might give you some sort of error. If it does click on "file" then "login as" and use videocontest@themeparkreview.net as the username and contest as the password. You should be able to open the submissions folder. Let me know if that works! --Robb
jarmor Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 This is what it's telling me... There is no website configured at this address. You are seeing this page because there is nothing configured for the site you have requested. If you think you are seeing this page in error, please contact the site administrator or datacenter responsible for this site.
robbalvey Posted November 22, 2005 Author Posted November 22, 2005 Can you give me more details? What are you using to connect? Can you post a screenshot? All I know is that it works for me, and it worked for at least two other people, so I don't think the problem is on the server's end. After you get the error do you get the Login option under the "File" menu? --Robb
robbalvey Posted November 22, 2005 Author Posted November 22, 2005 If you are using internet explorer here are some directions to FTP. You can also download trial versions of Smart FTP here: http://www.smartftp.com/ and use that to submit your video. Next you should see two folders. Drop your video into the "Contest Submissions" folder. Next you should see a window where you can put in the username and password. Username: videocontest@themeparkreview.net password: contest Click on the "File" menu option and select "Login As" type ftp.themeparkreview.net into your browser. You might see this error. This is NORMAL (like the head bash on a Boomerang!"
robbalvey Posted November 22, 2005 Author Posted November 22, 2005 ^ You have in your browser http://ftp.themeparkreview.net it should be ftp.themeparkreview.net or ftp://ftp.themeparkreview.net/ Remove the http:// and it should work. --Robb
jarmor Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 great now its telling me the operation timed out after I put in the password and log on
