It's so sad to hear that such classic Schwarzkopf coasters have an unknown future!

I wish that a park buys this coaster to save it from the dump...

According to that facebook page it seems to be in storage near the park. Its not for sale but when it does go on sale it will be public knowledge it said. Apparently 2 years of sitting in the sun has made them un-useable but i don't think thats true. They are going to sell it as a package with the Intamin wild river ride too. From the photos it seems to have been taken down properly.

Looks like we may be losing two Schwarzkopf legends in one go... This time it's Tsunami. Apparently the park's operators, the state government, did not take good enough care of the ride for it to be operated well, and they couldn't find a buyer willing to invest in it. So the ride in its entirety will be scrapped.

Triste noticia para todos los que conocemos la historia de esta Montaña Rusa desde sus inicios en Alemania.

 

El Gobierno del Estado de Aguascalientes no aprovechó al máximo una atracción tan emblemática cómo lo es Thriller / Texas Tornado / Zonga / Tsunami y no fue capaz de venderla a alguien que la regresara a la vida.

 

Olympia Looping es un ejemplo de que este tipo de Montañas Rusas pueden ser muy útiles por muchos años.

 

Muy lamentable noticia.

Sad news for all of us who know the history of this roller coaster since its beginnings in Germany.

 

The Government of the state of aguascalientes did not make the most of an attraction as emblematic as it is thriller / Texas Tornado / Zonga / Tsunami and was not able to sell it to someone who will return it to life.

 

Olympia looping is an example that this type of roller coaster can be very useful for many years.

During these days, we will continue to inform you about this.

 

I've become a Schwarzkopf coaster fan after riding Jetline and Lisebergbanan, so this one hurts. I'm now considering doing a "quick" international trip to London or one of Olympia Looping's other stops soon.

^ Mindbender at West Edmonton is another awesome one. It's my favorite Schwarzkopf outside of Quimera.
