Angle O. Descent Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Canada's Wonderland is the only park where you can ride 2 B&M's but not a B&M that inverts. I found a couple more: - Sea World Orlando: Kraken and Manta - Portaventura Park: Shambhala and Dragon Khan
CoasterMateo Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 Manta and Kraken both invert, and Dragon Khan also inverts.
Sportsdude360 Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 (edited) No one's mentioned this, but SFOT and SFMM are the only two parks were you can ride Giovanolas- Titan/Goliath. Edited June 30, 2015 by Sportsdude360
Myself Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Next year Belgium will have the shuttle coaster capital of the world: Walibi Belgium! I don't think any park has 3 shuttle coasters: a boomerang, a Schwarzkopf shuttle loop and the 2016 Mack watercoaster/shuttle thinghy. It will tie with Elitch Gardens, which has a boomerang, an Arrow shuttle loop and an Intamin halfpipe.
KrakenKing Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 No one's mentioned this, but SFOT and SFMM are the only twoparks were you can ride Giavanolas- Titan/Goliath. Um... do you mean Giovanola Hypers? Cause... http://rcdb.com/r.htm?ot=2&co=6908
Sportsdude360 Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 ^That list can't be right, La Vibora at SFOT is Intamin not Giovanola. But yes, I meant Hyper coasters.
DarienLaker Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Cedar Point - has three types of inverted coasters: An Arrow suspended coaster (Iron Dragon), an Intamin impulse (Wicked Twister), and a B&M invert (Raptor) Six Flags Magic Mountain - has three types of B&M coasters: A stand up (Riddler's Revenge), a floorless (Scream), and a "Batman: The Ride" clone
ejot Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 ^^ Most of the coasters on that list are Intamin-headed projects whose entire manufacture was fully subcontracted to Giovanola.
DarienLaker Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Six Flags Discovery Kingdom - has an Intamin impulse coaster with an angled twist and a Premier Skyloop coaster Six Flags St. Louis - has an Arrow/Vekoma "frakencoaster", a "Batman: The Ride" clone, a used Boomerang coaster, and a Gerstlauer spinning coaster
ejot Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Cedar Point - has three types of inverted coasters: An Arrow suspended coaster (Iron Dragon), an Intamin impulse (Wicked Twister), and a B&M invert (Raptor)If you consider suspendeds inverts, then Canada's Wonderland, King's Island, and Universal Singapore satisfy three types of inverted coasters, though not those particular mfrs. Dorney also satisfies three types of inverted coasters. Six Flags Magic Mountain - has three types of B&M coasters: A stand up (Riddler's Revenge), a floorless (Scream), and a "Batman: The Ride" clonePlenty of parks have three types of B&Ms and Great Adventure literally has those same exact types.
boldikus Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 ^ Yeah has anyone pointed out that Great Adv has 5 B&Ms (more than any other park on the planet)?
Sportsdude360 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 ^^ Most of the coasters on that list are Intamin-headed projects whose entire manufacture was fully subcontracted to Giovanola. In that case I stand by my earlier statement. So far as I know, Titan/Goliath are the only two hypers done entirely by Giovanola.
