jedimaster1227 Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 (edited) Today we're excited to bring our Facebook fans an exclusive sneak-preview of a new themed zone in the works for South Korea's Lotte World. FAIRY TRAILS is the expansion of the highly-successful UNDERLAND themed zone. Joining the lovable Underland ogres is an ancient tribe of fairies and sprites who inhabit the ruins of a storybook castle. Phase One (under construction) focuses on expanding the park's retail and dining options, while Phase Two (currently in design) will be home to a highly-themed family ride experience. This project marks the 6th collaboration between Lotte World and the Goddard Group as part of an unprecedented creative partnership formed in July 2012. Edited October 16, 2013 by jedimaster1227
KingRCT3 Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Lotte World's lastest dark-ride looks fantastic: [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
cfc Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 (edited) ^Is this a trackless dark ride? It's hard to tell from the video. Looks great, though. Edited October 16, 2013 by cfc
Her0ofLime Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 Will this be the Title Fairy's new residence?
Jew Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 I loved Lotteworld when TPR visited---their Indiana Jones knock off ride was on-par with the actual ride. This area and that dark ride look to match that!
David H Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 ^ Unfortunately, it was under rehab on my visit September of last year. Well, that's just another excuse to go back!
gisco Posted October 17, 2013 Posted October 17, 2013 That is a must return to place for me. The bonus is that it is close to Everland and T-Express too!
Garet Posted November 14, 2013 Posted November 14, 2013 They installed a lot of new rides this year, not just the trackless dark ride. A disko outside named gyro-spin and a balloon movie with a ride system similar to niagara's fury. I was planning on going out to photograph and update soon but Atlantis is down for a refurbishment and the rumours are that it won't reopen until march, french revolution is also under refurbishment right now but i'm not so interested in that one. I may skip over the winter season this year (with their indoor section they are actually still quite busy on winter weekends) and wait and see what 2014 has in store.
