paradisecoaster Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Trust me, you DO have what it takes to make a coaster, really nice one aswell. (btw, did you by any chance look in the monthly micros thread, because there was a design there not too long ago that had the same name as your coaster, and it's not the most common name there is...)
Loefet Posted March 21, 2011 Author Posted March 21, 2011 Thanks for the comment Also would like to add that this is made without tools if someone was wondering... About the name, it's a name I really like, and it's actually the second coaster I have made with the same name, the colour scheme for this coaster is taken from the latest Shinkansen train (Info at wikipedia) which is branded with the name "Hayabusa"... And no I haven't browse any monthly micros, since I'm not a big fan of RCT at the moment.
CorkscrewFoley Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 Hayabusa was also a Japanese wrestler too, so that's why the name caught my eye. As for the invert, it's looking nice.
tiger01 Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 It looks really nice and smooth but it would be great if you could make a POV.
freefallXL Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 looks really intersting!!! http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=58438 <- maybe you should look at this =D
_Brandon_ Posted March 21, 2011 Posted March 21, 2011 It's also the name of a type of armor in Halo 3. The coaster looks great.
deathbydinn Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 To add to the list of things named Hayabusa.. http://www.rcdb.com/1203.htm Seeing things like this really tempts me to finally get No Limits, it's capabilities and how it looks is just so much better than RCT3!
paradisecoaster Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 Mabye you should wait with getting no limits since it shouldn't be too long before they release Nolimits 2...
Loefet Posted March 22, 2011 Author Posted March 22, 2011 tiger01: I might do... freefallXL: it's already on there. CLICK deathbydinn: if you have the money, do it. But I warn you, it's really hard in the beginning. ^ Sure NL2 is coming "soon", but it could also mean that it will take a year or so before it's released, I know, since in the past whenever there were a new update coming it said soon but it took forever for them to release it...
coasterfreak101 Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 This was fantastic! The only awkward transition I could really find was out of the immelmann - it just felt weird to me. But that barrel roll was great, and I absolutely loved the finale with the Top Gun-esque corkscrew into the tight helix, and then another one to wrap it up! Good job!
freefallXL Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 freefallXL: it's already on there. CLICK Hi Loefet Thank you for the CLICK, .. I've downloaded it from the TPR Exchange and it´s also rated (I love the feedback system of the TPR Exchange). Each of nolimits builder is having another, own view and assessment strategies. Here is mine: Great job .. The track offers thrill, varity and proper G forces. Here and there a few bumbs are available but it is still fun to drive this inverter in the simulator. The beginning is a little rough. I do prefere a gentler approach of the train. Maybe it´s the same, as you did over there, with real inverters (I don´t know) I prefer 0.1 g or a little more than that, to speed up the train out of the station. So the beginning is nice and smooth. The final brake (it´s only a matter of taste) would look better without friction wheels in between. At all: I gave 3.5 stars. Because I think that this roller coaster can be a bit better. I hope you're not angry with me because of that. As far as, it is a good NoLimits project! And I hope you can understand my assessment (inclusive: wacky english), ideas and criticism to do something with it. Keep up the good work as well and have fun in what you're doing! ...nice greetings, freefall "having SO much fun with the google translator today" XL
grrt Posted March 22, 2011 Posted March 22, 2011 This was excellent! Short and sweet, like a coaster should be. Most drag it out and I particularly enjoyed this ride because you placed only the best B&M elements, such as the zero g roll and the immelman. Which were done wonderfully. Especially liked how the incline loop curved around the roll. Also, the corkscrew into the lake was a nice touch. It added to the atmosphere part of the ride. And it all flowed together quite well. Not too much, would be perfect for almost any park out there. Certainly something I'd love to see around somewhere.
imawesome1124 Posted March 23, 2011 Posted March 23, 2011 Could you please post a POV so the people without NL can enjoy this?
davisal771 Posted March 26, 2011 Posted March 26, 2011 This was a great coaster! I think you pulled off the zero-g roll and immelmann perfectly, but the helices just seemed a little weird to me, but I don't know why. The supports were great, and the ride was great. I look forward to seeing more from you!
Loefet Posted June 30, 2011 Author Posted June 30, 2011 A little late but here is a POV of the ride: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqbxXHigDYA
Coaster Cow Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I liked it! Kinda reminded me of a cross between Talon and Top Gun at GCA with soaring first half then quick transition into the helices over the water.
Real Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Mabye you should wait with getting no limits since it shouldn't be too long before they release Nolimits 2... Except its what, a measly 25-30 bucks? And I believe those who own NL1 will get NL2 for discount...so you can get used to the sim now, enjoy it for all it is and whenever NL2 comes out (You could be waiting another year at least - even his updates take awhile) you get NL2 for discount. Win win situation. This isnt like buying a 60 dollar Madden game a month before the new one comes out.
