I am pretty sure from our trip in October that all coaster stations have the cubicles you put your personals in before riding. I would only imagine getting a l0 c ker when you go into the waterpark area.

^ Well said, lol, and that is good to hear. I haven't been in 2 years and after seeing all the changes Six Flags has made, I was wondering if they would follow suit.

Oh, and...

^That would be my stepdaughter (age 7), too, if she had any idea. She's finishing up her summer visitation with her father on Saturday. Before she left two months ago, I told her we were going to Hershey at some point before school was back in session. I'm sure she's forgotten that by now, and even if she hasn't, she doesn't know that she's literally going to be on a coaster 16 hours after her plane lands.

^^Thanks, but I'm sure she would disagree. We did something similar--but on a much larger scale--19 months ago when we took her to Disney World--without telling her. We told her we were flying out to Idaho to see the world's largest potato, and she completely believed us.

In fact, we may have been a little too convincing. During the entire trip from the airport to the hotel via Disney's Magical Express, she refused to believe we were in Florida. It wasn't until we checked in at the All-Star Movies that she finally said, "You know what? I think maybe we really are at Disney World...."

So...what is the Boardwalk like on Sundays? Do crowds get lighter as it gets closer and closer to closing?

The Frost's are gathering the goods and planning on hitting the highway @ 3. Look to be in hotel @ 6ish. Hope the rain holds out! They have been calling for storms around here for the last 3 weeks and nothing, now all of a sudden it is raining!!!!! Damn clouds anyhow..... See ya all in the am, unless anyone is in town tonight and wants to find somewhere to get a drink. The wife wants to ride up the road and check out Hollywood casino for a bit, I want to find a watering hole and have a drink with some locals.

Meh, rain is a good thing. I remember the last time I went to Hersheypark, it rained all day. I got eight walk-on rides on Lightning Racer in a row, and they even had the middle six rows roped off.

Now, a thunderstorm isn't good. But I'd be perfectly fine with rain.

Just a heads up for people coming from Philadelphia or New Jersey, etc who would normally take the PA Turnpike going by King of Prussia/Valley Forge...The Turnpike will be closed at midnight tonight until 5am Sunday morning between the King of Prussia/Valley Forge exit and Downingtown. This probably won't affect too many people, but for those of you who like to get there extremely early for breakfast or something, you will have to detour. See everyone tomorrow!

The husband and I have arrived in Hershey! We are settled in at our hotel & SUPER excited about tomorrow!!! Anybody staying in town tonight??

I will see you guys there, for my first east coast event in many years! I'll be wearing a black Ghost Galaxy tee if you would like to say hello. Will be great to see some of my old friends again. Will be riding Fahrenheit for the first time and I couldn't be more excited!

Thank you Robb for making those 3 tickets available, clutch!!!

we are just outside Hershey tonight! We went into town and did the Chocolate Facotry tour with the kids....They Loved it! We are moving to a hotel closer for tomorrow night as our 12 mile drive took 45 minutes! I hope the rain isn't too bad, but at least it will keep the crowds away!! See you all tomorrow!

Robb - Sorry - I didn't see a starbucks on the way.......

Good morning everyone! We're headed up from Annapolis in a minute, see you all at 830!

And it looks like we have a 40% chance of scattered t-storms from noon until dinnertime or so - not too bad! Storms are pretty erratic here around this time of year, so hopefully they won't last long if they happen!
