haiderodes Posted August 22, 2010 Share Posted August 22, 2010 since they got rid of the water slides, there's not much to look at at Lake Delores/RockaHoola. its funny, when they added the big waterslides in the late 90s, we never saw the place open. frozenflames Posted August 22, 2010 Share Posted August 22, 2010 I've actually been to Glen Echo a few times, for some dances that they hold there. It's really cool seeing it at night, because all of the neon lights are working, and they do still have a working carrousel that they run on occaision. While most rides were auctioned off, the Cyclone and most of the buildings (carousel building, dodgem building, Dante's Inferno etc.) are all still there, right? Most of these parks are privately owned and do not appreciate people traipsing through their property, taking ridiculously cool pictures.
