lol. In all fairness... I do feel badly sometimes. But i try to remind myself... This was how I chose to spend ME money to enjoy MY trip. Don't worry. You won't catch me on the tea cups though lol. All you!

Honestly the blame is more how Six Flags handles flash pass than on you.

In an ideal world, the flashpass line would join at the station entrance. The only people allowed past the turnstile into the station would be those that could board next (2 or 4 per line, depending on ride).

None of that 10 lines and 250 people crap six flags pulls.

That way, you can pick your line and not steal it out from someone who was about to sit in that seat. The people in the regular line could then plan accordingly (ie, a group would ride together as planned)

That is exactly how its set up for gold and regular FP users. Just sayin'.

That IS how it works on just about every single ride. They don't group though because grouping would mean you generally wouldn't have your choice of seat.

Hm? No its not. They enter through the exit and then plop their fat asses into your seat right as your gate is about to open. And then you stare them down until they cry.

No they don't. Those are exit passes. Generally they're people with disabilities. During Fright Fest though I'm convinced ride ops just give them to their friends because there's a metric f**k ton of them.

And then you stare them down until they cry.

... so all you've been doing is making disabled people cry. I hope you're happy.

(And yes I know you were kidding with that last statement, lol)

Ok no, but I will give you a dirty look and you will feel bad.

Nope, I never feel bad about it. I'm "stealing" jack s**t from you. You hate it so badly, then go buy one yourself.

Seriously, I've busted my ass enough in my career to now earn a pretty comfortable living, never having had anything handed to me in the process. I paid for college by myself, paid for grad school by myself, paid for my cars by myself, even paid off the $30K in debt I inherited from a deadbeat parent by myself. I'm at a point in my life where I make enough and live responsibly enough where I can comfortably decide to maximize the amount of fun I have at a park, and I'll be damned if anyone is going to tell me I need to feel bad because of that.

Nope. Maybe one day when you can't bear the waits you'll buy one and see thats exactly how it is. I would know, I've used them.

I love me some choo choo but it's literally the only coaster in the park that's like that. Skull Mountain has people enter from the exit but they have rows blocked off and if there's no line at Flash Pass people usually just jump in those seats anyway.

You folks clearly havent been on the mine roller coaster ride recently.

I have. And you are correct. The thing is, RMT never gets a line long enough to warrant a Flash Pass.

HOWEVER, Toro, Nitro, Ka, Batman, Bizarro, Zumanjaro, Green Lantern, and Superman flash pass lines all merge with the standby line in or right before the station.

Well there's also an El Toro, Nitro, Kingda Ka, and Skull Mountain in the park.

But Im not crazy right?

The flash pass access is via the exit and you steal someones seat.

Ok thats good then. I have no issue with that. Obviously those folks are less memorable than the ones taking your seat.

And what about those kids who entered through the exit at the teacups. Flash pass also right? I mean, it made no sense, there was no line.

People coming up the exits have exit passes (usually given out if a ride goes down/gets stuck when you are on it) or people with ADA passes. So yeah Bill is right, you are shooting daggers out of your eyes at disabled people. Real nice.

Ironic from the guy literally shooting things out of his eyes in his picture

I'm on the freaking skyway shooting rainbows of joy from my eyes all over the park. Somehow I'm not surprised you have a problem with positivity.

The angle of the shooting rainbows indicates a collision with the overhead wire system. The strength of the rainbows indicates a large force, capable of destroying the cables. A catastrophic failure of the cable system would result in a mass casualty event, quite the opposite of positivity.

Morale of story: Flash Pass bad.

Morale 2: Be glad NJ still has the sky buckets, which sadly Magic Mountain removed many moons ago. Theyre both an enjoyable experience and a good for of transportation.

Joyous rainbows could never affect the operations of the Skyway or any ride for that matter.

Moral of story: just about everyone in this thread disagrees with you regarding your hate for FP.

Well considering this started when I quoted someone who disliked the flash pass and I was in agreement with them....

Also, if flash passes were so great, why doesnt everybody buy one?

Conversely, if the souvenir bottles werent great, why does everyone have one?

OK now it seems we're officially bordering on Kings Dominion Thread levels of insanity at this point. Later gators!

I'll jump out as well. Will post a PTR when I return for you guys! I will let you know just how amazingly Platinum FP worked out for us, too. lol

The point of flash pass is to weed out some more dollars from the people that have the extra dollars and give them a better experience so both sides experience a win-win. If everybody bought a flash pass, then the normal line would become a flash pass line, so the price is high so it has some exclusivity.
