Meteornotes Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 An R2D2 at our new local World Of Beer dt
Meteornotes Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Alagash White at my local World Of Beer dt
viking86 Posted November 15, 2015 Posted November 15, 2015 Technically not the last, but the last new beer for me was the amazingly delicious "Kniksen" beer from the local 7 Fjell Bryggeri (7 Mountains Brewery, the name comes from the seven mountains surrounding our city).
cfc Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 A Devil's Backbone Eight-Point IPA at the Movie Tavern while watching Spectre.
Meteornotes Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 ^I should have gone to the theater near here that serves alcohol, it would have made Spectre a lot better. Fat Tire dt
cfc Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 ^The Movie Tavern is the best place to see marginal movies in Williamsburg--thanks to the availability of some good beer. I did quaff another Magic Hat Snow Roller last night while watching House of Cards on Netflix.
Philrad71 Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Old Man Winter is back! Just finishing off my first 6 pack of it for 2015 - not all at once, of course!
cfc Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Starr Hill (Charlottesville, Va.) "The Love" while watching Rifftrax at the Movie Tavern last night. I'm not partial to wheat beers, but this one is quite good.
Philrad71 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Just bought a six pack of this in Erie last night...strong stuff!
cfc Posted December 6, 2015 Posted December 6, 2015 Anchor Winter Wheat--surprisingly dark and pretty tasty.
cfc Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 St. Bernardus Christmas Ale This stuff and Hardywood Gingerbread Stout are the best Christmas brews ever.
Philrad71 Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 New Belgium Slow Ride Session IPA - not really a big fan as the hop flavor has too much of a citrus (grapefruit-ey) flavor for my taste. Fat Tire is still the best of the New Belgium beers that I have tried to date.
cfc Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 Monty Python's Holy Grail Black Knight's Reserve . . . from the Holy Grail itself!
Philrad71 Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 Dragonhosen - Boulder Beer Co. This is the first Imperial Oktoberfest I have ever had. It tastes like a much stronger, caramel-rich version of Sam Adam's Oktoberfest.
cfc Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA--very nice, indeed.
